For anyone wondering why huge power doubling azumarill's attack from 50 to 100 is so good - thats not actually how stat doubling effects work. Azumarill's attack stat is calculated from its base 50 attack plus IVs and EVs, and then the final result - which at level 50 maxes out at 112 - is doubled. The final stat is roughly the equivalent of having base 150-160 attack, so somewhere between Groudon and Necrozma-Dusk Mane. Pretty impressive for such a little guy!

I mean when you fight witney your team is still under level than the milktank and will get rolled by the milktank alone But when you fight claire your team is mostly comeplete and have good stat so that why people is more raging on witney than claire@@TheDeathlyG
@TheDeathlyG7 ай бұрын
@@silentfox2366 Actually, Kingdra is far worse. Miltank is ~level 21, while trainers are in the mid to upper teens and wild Pokemon are about 6 levels below. Claire's Kingdra is level 40, a whopping 15-19 levels above most wild encounters you can grind for exp. If you did every trainer encounter AND grinded some wild encounters, you could expect to be mid 30's at best. Kingdra comes in with not only a significant level lead, but also a major type advantage as you cannot get a Dragon Type Pokemon (the only Super Effective move typing) from a wild encounter. Even if you did, the only Dragon type move that does anything is Dragon's Breath, as Twister is both ineffective and lacks a helpful secondary effect due to Kingdra's speed. Additionally, all her Dragonair's have Thunder Wave, meaning at least one if not more of your 'mons will be paralyzed. Unlike Whitney who's bane, Machop, is easily accessible, Claire lacks such an obvious counter. She has a higher level disparity, status conditions all over the place, and better typing. She is objectively worse to fight, even though you have more options.
@Bluebedo7 ай бұрын
@@TheDeathlyG I was always amazed when the internet got more connected and I started hearing all these horror stories about Whitney's miltank while having zero issues with it in any of my playthroughs. Meanwhile Claire? Her Kingdra got me to actually use items in a battle because it did absolutely terrible things to my team if I didn't. The huge irony being that after getting hyped up on Claire, the Elite 4 and Lance were relative pushovers in comparison.
@SolstaceWinters6 ай бұрын
I think the reason most folks (myself included) have more visceral memories of Whitney and not Claire (who I personally find forgettable) is because most folks when they replay the game tend to make it up to Whitney, but are less likely to reach Claire near the end of the Johto segment of the game. Their playthroughs may peter out and due to disinterest or burnout and end up shelved. Thus folks see more of Whitney, not Claire. Though I'm only speaking from personal experience. Many of my "spur of the moment, on a whim" attempts to start a run of G/S/C/HG/SS usually end in me giving up partway through. Usually a town or two after beating Whitney.

I'm a big shuckle fan, was in the battle tower in Emerald & got stuck against a Magneton while running toxic stall... Poison not working on steel I thought I'd lost. Eventually forced it to struggle & won! Got so excited I dropped my Gameboy & it froze so it didn't count😂😂

The editing of these videos having a new image/visual every 1-2 seconds is amazing. It’s similar to tiktok and how all of our attention spans are fried and like to see new images every few seconds 😭. The editing has to be time consuming but it’s very, very good.

@@mattnic001 Maybe due to the fact Geodude is not a popular pick, most didn't bring a rock pokemon into a normal fight. Still, rollout was designed to be a check and force players to learn about the importance of status effects. I learned sand attack isn't a bad move after all and maybe paralyze is OP.
