I am not a fan of this piece, as many performances tend to bring darkness to the forefront, but this performance has very little of it, and I like it. The second movement is restful and the fourth movement is full of life.

Wow! That was amazing! I don't know where to start - such energy, such lyricism, beautiful phrasing, and dynamics which were out of this world. And the rapport between conductor and orchestra was a joy to behold. Thank you so much for posting this wonderful video - amoung the very best performances of Mozart 40 I've ever heard.
