The boy has manners, class, humility, talent. But I can't imagine what else from Eddie and Valerie...two truly beautiful parents and souls, that really seemed to live that truth. He's a wonderful guy, it seems!I followed a tweet once. And he actually responded! No other big name has ever done that.

Imagine how that really feels for this guy to have to do an album on his own with EVH being his dad. He handles it well and his album is really great. I love his stance on Not playing Eddie for the fans. Nobody can be Eddie VH and he shows respect to him. He has his own story to tell. It's great to hear his influences coming out of his playing. The Big Picture sounds so much like Alice N Chains with Wolf's guitar sound. it's awesome to hear how mature his all around playing ability is .He will go far

He did it all himself and turned out some really great tunes on his first album. Of course there are always other artists out there with great talent but he for sure deserves a nod. He’s keeping rock alive and doing so with some really well written and great sounding songs. He has his own thing and sounds nothing like what Van Halen was doing. I for one thinks he earned this. I wish him nothing but great success.

Thank you so much, Wolfgang. Thanks for allowing me the sheer joy, tremendous pride and open heart that I had in loving and respecting your father for nearly 40 years and giving me the gift of letting me carry it over to you, young man. It is so staggeringly easy. It has nothing to do with your virtuosity with music. It has everything with what I've ever seen and heard from you as a human being. Unfortunately, we've gone through very similar timelines and losses over the last year and a half. I've had the luxury of absorbing the pain and searching for understanding out of the spotlight. Your response has been deep, loving, and noble, if not heroic. This man couldn't be more impressed by you personally or more excited for your future. I'll always be in your corner. Merry Christmas and God bless! and Take care of Al.

My wife watched an interview with him last night, and was going crazy about his music, so I reluctantly sat down to watch a video with her this morning... To say I was blown away is an understatement! I love songs when the artist does all the pieces (or parts) themselves, but DAMN! this kid has such incredible talent! I just bought a couple of songs for my phone's collection, and now I'm surfing the 'net for anything about him. I've always liked his parents and their accomplishments, but to be honest, Wolfgang is so amazing and pitch perfect, who cares who his parents are? He is literally a one man band that is unmatched. (great sense of humor too) Follow 'yer dream, Kid... you're going places...

I really do hope Wolf puts out a few more albums. I'm interrested in seeing him grow. And I'm saying this not for the fans only, but for Wolf's own personal growth. It would be awesome if he did join up with the VH boys and do a few shows. If I were to go see such a event, it would be about Wolf as much as it would be about anyone. Either way I like what's he's doing. Keep it up young man.

1) This was a great interview. Credit to Lauryn; I love when an interviewer knows who they're talking to, and isn't unprepared or trying to get the musician to say what they believe. 2) *Every* interview I see with Wolfgang impresses me. There's an understated humility and attempt to be as honest as possible as an artist that comes through, always. I love what he said about how being in front isn't his personality, but how its part of the 'job'.

Great interview. One of the best I've seen with Wolf. Wolf is his own person and is putting out great music. VALIDATED! I think he'll play some Halen tunes one day once he makes is own way. I'm so proud of him. Dealing with his loss and still having to constantly answer questions about his father while trying to be his own artist. I respect this kid a lot. Some will say he got it easy because his father's name will gift him a platform. But he has it twice as hard trying to not be the shadow of his father. I'm not a big mammoth fan to be honest. But I love this Wolfs playing. He is the ultimate multi instrumentalist. I've been doing this for years (recording all my own tracks). But when I see this kid play each instrument, I am super impressed.

It's tempting to want Wolf to continue his father's work, but we must allow Wolf to be himself. I'm so excited for the future, because he's proving to be a great musician apart from his legendary dad. Keep rockin' our world, Wolf. The world desperately needs great music and your music. 👍👍👍👍👍

Around the 2:20 mark when Wolfie was ask about playing Eruption at the Grammy's in honor of his father and declined IMO is the most respectable mature decision Wolfie has ever made. I was almost in tears when I watched the clip of this part, but deep down it was the right decision for Wolfie to make! Follow in your Dad's Legacie, Don't fall into his exact footsteps. Wolfie made this his best deceion during his fo, an did so very quickly. I and many others will respect you for your decision until the end of time. Respectfully, EVH Fans

Amazing human being. His musicianship is otherworldly. I don't know why she keeps talking about guns and roses so much? None of those guys have collectively as much talent as Wolfie has in his little finger? He has the genetic gift for sure, but his commitment and love for the music (what his Dad had) is why he will continue to make amazing music. There still are some really good players out there, some legendary. But Wolfgang still so far ahead of genre and there's still so much more to come. Wolfgang, God bless you and your family and I am really inspired by your candor and humility. Your talent is untouchable. Keep doin it!

Wolf just seems like such a kind, humble dude and the kind of guy that you'd want to hang out and talk music with. Thanks for everything you've done so far, Wolf, and stay awesome brother
