Racing 200 Riders in CRAZY Downhill Race: Can I Win?

I'm taking on one of the most INSANE challenges of my life - starting last in a downhill mountain bike race with 200 riders ahead of me. This isn't just any race, but the qualifying event for the Megavalanche - reputed to be the craziest mountain bike race in the world.
Will I manage to weave, jump, and race my way from the back of the pack to the front?

I wish I had a POV when I used to ride the Kamikaze at Mammoth Mountain in California when they used to have a week long event at Mammoth Mountain sanctioned by NORBA back in the mid 90s. I hit 55mph on the Kamikaze.

This course was insane! That section around 5:45 was shady AF. You lose it there, and it's over. Nice job keeping pace and holding the other riders off.

Thats the thing about the megavalanche people forget that this 'quali' track alone is 3/4 times longer than a world cup downhill run! And most of that is very rough rocky snowy and technical terrain apart from last part which joins part of a blue flow trail in Alp'd Huez bike park, i started last in my heat and made it up to 44th so much harder from the back, top riding alex!

Tip. Don't set the camera on horizon lock but horizon leveling until an x degree. That little bit of angle on the corner makes a much nicer experience in the corners. Beside that, great vid! Enjoyed watching!
