Getting pups from your first litter to survive at least up to the Young Hunters quest on Accurate mode is quite a feat. I’ve done it (and as an Ironwolf), but on the Amethyst Mountain map. Hellroaring Mountain is especially difficult when it comes to food security because elk herds are sparse and beavers don’t live there. I want to do an Accurate Ironwolf run there sometime, but I want to sharpen my skills first. 😅 On a side note, hunting gets easier from this point on, that is if you protect your offspring from stranger wolf raids. Yes, raids STILL happen during this quest. In fact, they are deadlier for your player wolf. Your best bet would be to take down an elk calf on the first day of the quest and eat your fill - it’s the only way your health is going to improve. You’re going to need all the health you can get to survive the raids. I’m rooting for you! 😃🙌🏼

Actually, your best bet is running away, i'm not even joking. You can outrun them tryna attack your pups and at least I never really lost territory over it.

@ Interesting. Does it work on Accurate mode, however? If so, I may try it in a dire situation (e.g., at least one member of my pack has 20% health or less).

hii! man the way hares saved me during the starvation time...had 3 injuries and didnt have the health to hunt so didnt have hunger to heal!!! my pups nearly starved but hares n water saved us

If anyone is feeling sad right now, here is a funny story about wolf quest! so one day I was playing with quest with my new Wolf patches and her mate dash, we had six pups Nala,Splash,Haku,Mars,Willow,and Pinecone one day I was just playing with them and then I see what looks like two logs in the grass ,then I realized they were wolves are just staring at us they were probably saying to themselves"you can't see us because we're hidden in the grass hehe"

For someone who played Accurate on the first save that I ever played the saga I’ll say. It was a great mistake and also achievement. When it’s September and u need to constantly feed your growing pups I was always on 3% hp. Thankfully I got through with no pup deaths that were in my control aka only 2 died of sickness and today I have 9 wolves in total in my pack and my wolf Winterfang is 7 years old.

Forgot to mention that my mate never helped out and always stole food from my pups. So I had to abuse lots of bugs in order to survive.
