I'd say she should play Irene Adler. Irene is often portrayed as an older woman. Plus, she wouldn't have to be swapped out for a double to do backflips or ninja moves. Irene's just a precog. But, there could be a cool action scene where, despite being blind, she uses subtle moves to come out unharmed. A calm side-step. Idly tossing something on the ground that makes someone trip and smash their head on something. That sort of thing.

Kristen Schaal looked like she was actually aware of what it meant to portray a GhostBuster... or at least the people that prepped her for her “audition” Never saw GB’16 but a lot of what I heard was not encouraging They apparently had garbage writing, tried to play all 4 as the wacky/zany quip-slinger and that the movie had no soul. I heard promising things about the actress for their attempt at female Egon, but that they misused her badly. Woulda been nice to see a movie with a good director, writer and producer... When I saw the commercials and all the ghosts looked as bright and cartoony as neon Las Vegas signs I had a bad feeling in my gut. Part of what made the first 2 “pop” was that with the exception of Slimer and the 2 convict ghosts in GB2, the effects looked fairly believable... the librarian, the cab driver, the Titanic passengers... all had an unsettling plausible look to them. Even the demon dogs looked fairly realistic in the context of their universe. Everything I saw in the lead up to GB’16 just looked wrong and made them all sound like a forced-together improv group with minimal chemistry. Granted Bill Murray is a hard-ass that no matter where he is looks like he’d rather be anywhere else, but during a cast interview you can almost see him rolling his eyes nonstop while Dan Aykroyd, bless his heart, is desperately pouring everything he’s got into hyping this movie Then I heard there was minimal script and that the director was more or less encouraging the actors to let their creativity flow and then all my concerns made sense The actresses weren’t the problem, the *production* was likely cursed before they ever signed their contracts; the director and “writers” were useless
