Honestly he's a nightmare either way. Every X-Man knows when Wolverine is on his own he's just stacking bodies and no one bothers to bat an eye anymore because they can't stop him and don't want to even try. I love Wolverine. He was my first (conscious) decision to ask my Dad for $1.75 to buy a comic. Archie was doing Ninja Turtles. I was eight, and I saw Wolverine Vol. 2 #58. Please, the old works by Larry Hama and Silvestri are short and sweet comics. The real deal Wolvie to me. I'd love to finally see one of those issues get done.

I was a kid, but as I flipped through the pages while at the grocery store I saw a little guy that couldn't be broken. For the sake of being a little guy myself at the time, I bonded. I wanted to see what he was about. Learn the mysteries and the failures that made him so tough. That old run Wolverine Vol. 2 is gold.
