Hi Gents, I had to bend my pin a little until it managed to fit in properly, then wiggle the back until the front foot rested properly on the base, but once done, it looks epic :)

Sideshow should have pegged the forward foot. There's more weight at the front of Wolverine's body than at the tip of the rear foot. Come on Sideshow, get it together.

Mac Collections problem is the base is polystone and the peg metal! Force the 2 and crack!!! We straightening up the peg and it went in perfect! This is an oversight for sure! Not buying the intentional nonsense i have heard

With a pair of pliers I slowly applied force to make the peg straight. It took time and patience really. Since i did this i have seen how small the peg is on the foot. So be really careful. Tbh in the first instance contact sideshow to inform them of the flaw

The peg is supposed to be bent like that. Mine has the same way but no problem in assembling. However, I agree that SS has very poor QC and design.

Do you guys plan on reviewing Sideshows Aspen. I should be getting mine this week but would like to hear your feedback on it. They made a change on the base that is terrible. The prototype had a beautiful blending of blue for the water from dark blue to light blue to clear at the top. Had to believe that this change was an artistic decision. But then how could it be a technical decision? They did it for the prototype

I'm not convinced the peg isn't supposed to be shaped that way. Just watch the "out of the box" video for Wolvie in slow mo and that one seemed bent too and just slipped right in. it's almost like they laid the front foot down first and guided the back in using the front like a pivot point. Not saying it's wait they should have done, but it could be intentional.

sevin nah this was not going in no matter what angle we tried! Alex spent 20 minutes slowly straightening the peg and then it went straight in! This was bent from the paint up vice and was not checked before shipping! Poor!

I had the same problem with it just like this ...sooo i made that hole a bit wider. I wasnt gonna deal with sideshow about fixing it ...problem solved

Sick of Sideshows shit. Modifying a $1000 statue is unacceptable. Those that do it to make up for their QC fuck ups are enabling them. Guarantee if every statue received was returned they would sort their issues out real quick. What a joke....

I think the peg is supposed to be like that. There's instructions somewhere I read I forget where maybe on sideshows website or a forum but it helps you understand how to position it to get it all the way in. But I do agree it should be easier to get into base, yet if that's done to keep it from leaning over the long run I'm fine with it. Have camera man turn them notifications on silent. C'mon man!
