Coyote is such a playful spirit - almost childlike in a way. Whereas Steve is obviously very solitary and used to only having animals for company. So I feel like Steve was mildly annoyed by the eagerness that coyote displayed but it wasn't anything with malicious intent. It doesn't mean he is bad or anything... just that he doesn't act in the way people expect of others. Living with nature and animals the way he does is not what most people do, thus abnormal. This is one of my favourite videos from Brave WIlderness, and this is my second time watching. I imagine being in the presence of a Wolverine to be a humbling experience, and seeing Steve play with one at the end was a beautiful sight. I love it when I see humans and animals connect and enjoy each other's company so much. It's all about building a relationship of respect, trust, and understanding, and it's truly heartwarming.
