My family rode on this about 13 years ago. I seem to remember a section near the beginning that used to have a switch track that was particularly brutal on the body. Was this the coaster that I'm thinking of because this ride looks WAY tamer than the one I remember. It felt like my spine had been realigned with about 20 2x4s during that ride!!

This would be such a great coaster for RMC to hybrid. Couple of inversions so Thunderhawk doesn’t have to have them all to itself would be perfect for MiA.

My personal thoughts on Wildcat: I honesty loved it!! I thought it was very fun and enjoyable.... Although Cons: after the second hill it has lots of tiny hills, and it seems right after being in the air you're back in it again! It wasn't much of a problem for me, but a warning for others. It's bumpy, very bumpy. Pros: It isn't as high as Shivering Timbers, for those that are scared to go on it, but still very entertaining!! That's it, it's the shortened version of my thoughts! Also I'm leaving to go here in about four weeks so yay!

i rode this yesterday in the back row, only person in the last car. the washboarding and resulting jackhammering was so bad i forgot the ride started with a tunnel as my singular hope in life became making it off the ride without a head/neck ache.. the re-tracked section though is a totally different story and a nice (however brief) break from the beating. a couple guys in the car ahead of mine had similar complaints as we exited. interestingly, i noticed a group of younger kids fully occupying the second car who were able to repeat ride since there was no line - i can only imagine they must have been getting a better experience up there than i was in back or im not sure how they were able to tolerate going around more than once. this coaster needs help

Is it just me, or does this remind anyone of Phoenix. Same trains, same layout, same pre-lift tunnel, and roughly the same order of elements, except that it is a mirror image, and also the airtime hills aren't as pronounced. Also, I highly doubt it is as smooth as the Phoenix, Knoebels takes extremely good care of that ride, but still...

+Andrew Kowalczyk - Curtis D. Summers, the designer, and the DINN Corporation aka the Builder, had a hand int he relocation and reassembly of the Phoenix back in 1985. This coaster was one of the newer creations with Curtis and Dinn hooked up with Cedar fair and other parks to build some newer coasters. Dinn is responsible for: Hercules (Defunct) Mean Streak Wolverine Wildcat The Beast and some other decent but forgettable coasters.
@andrewkowalczyk11568 жыл бұрын
