The band's celebration after Roundtree's touchdown (3:06) was great. I love the exhilaration they have when they're on the Notre Dame sidelines.

I was at this game, sitting right "underneath" Touchdown Jesus. The 87 yard TD run by Robinson was right at me! I thought all was lost when they got the TD pass to the tight end with just about 3:30 to go - how did the TE get behind our DB's??? But it was awesome see Dennard engineer one last drive, and though ND nearly could have won it on that last play, it was wonderful to see the ball land harmlessly in the stands, about 20 yards beyond any received or DB! Go Blue!!

The game was sloppy except for Robinson. He overshadowed a lot of our mistakes that day. RichRod was relying on him to much to be a magic mistake eraser all season. Finally with Hoke and Mattison and Borges we'll have a solid foundation of fundamentals and defense to back DRob up. Wish they would've redshirted him 2 years ago.

The missed field goals along with the drive killing penalties are what kept this game close in the second half.

3:00 - Defenses have to respect Denard's running ability so much, it sets up the pass. This is why Rich Rod's offense is so deadly. WIth more experience, it is going to get better and better. DRob is only a sophomore.

Andy, for whatever reason, the video freezes at the 2:48 mark. Can't get past that even though video is completely loaded. Tried to fast forward to another segment but just goes back to that mark.

So do you still use vhs for your tapes? Not sure if I mentioned this before but Maxell has the highest quality brand, and they seem to be the best price at Meijer.

@hailgoblue087 You've gotta realize with a lot of those runs is that they were read option plays, and that's what the defense gave him. And most of the hits he took on plays like that were nothin. He's no more prone to injury running the way he has than a pocket passer is when they get blindsided by a defender. Actually, he's less prone than in those situations.

Give this video thumbs up for the Michigan marching band playing "Bad Romance" (which I believe might win the Best Video VMA tonight).

The unsportsmanlike penalities cost us some points too. As exciting as that last drive was, it should have never come down to that. Those two missed field goals were pathetic. Not even close.

@boehmann19 Well, injuries happen. I thought it was bullshit when Mike Hart was knocked out of the game (two plays into the game) in 05 when we played you guys. At least Crist played a hell of alot more than Hart did in that 05 game. I'm sure that didn't tarnish that 7 point win for you guys.

I wonder what the Notre Dame excuses are gonna be this time. Last season it was the TD called back (correctly) on that screen pass, along with the time being run off (again, correctly) on that final kickoff.

@boehmann19 yea and i also thought it was bullshit that you guys got a phantom td. And we missed 2 fg's. I could go on and on. Go Blue!

@drewroberts "I'm asking because I don't see how our defense will improve." Count the number of true and redshirt underclassmen on that defense, then look at our recruits so far (and count Anthony Zettel), then kick yourself in the nuts. Gibbons was lights-out in high school. Don't know what's up in that situation.

@WolverineHistorian I have always hated left footed kickers ever since jason gingell. And i hate'em even more! They all friken blow! Except david akers, but outside of him, left footed kickers blow! We might as well not waste a scholarship for a field goal kicker cause the walk on kickers do better anyway! Go Blue!
