Derrick & Warren feel the Allman Bro' sound. No wonder they get along and compliment each others styles... I was into the Allman Bro' sound back in the early 70's....they still got me!!..Yeah !

Just Damn! Got chills at Gregg's break. But, the Gibson duel at the end reminded me of the Lennon-McCartney duel in "The End".

I agree with you one hundred percent...also with his own band he reminds me of Steve Marriot but at a lower register...I love Warren and he is such a sweet guy,,he is really down to earth, I have seen him after shows , talking with fans for at least and hour after....

I love this. Warren has such a great voice, i didn't even know. That hollowbody has such great tone. And Trucks is a beast! his style is unlike anyone else, so fast and stylish.

I'm 23 years old. For most of my life, the only Allman Brothers song I was familiar with was 'Ramblin Man', which I don't think is that great. I am just now finding out that they are actually a fantastic group.

Warren Haynes= Best Vocals in the ABB EVER! Not a bad Guitar Player either! Can't wait to see the ABB at the Comcast Center in MA. Rock ON!

Warren's singing and playing were already knocking me off my feet, then Derek soloed and I almost passed out. Wish he would do more slideless playing. His bottleneck work is incredible, but sometimes it sounds . . . weird. and more hippie-ish than straight-up blues. (but when he does straight-up blues bottleneck it's heavenly!) Play on forever, all you guys, please.

This is a great cover. There's a live version from Freddie King that this is clearly based on (not the King studio recording). I'd have to say that Freddie's live version is still best overall.
@lastfirst73716 жыл бұрын
Freddie is a better showman than Warren, but that's about all that version is better at.
@unknownkingdom14 жыл бұрын
@mandem89 Yeah. If Derek Trucks smiles a little bit, for him that's showing tons of emotion. But he's a good player.
