Cameron is 100% responsible! Emanuel’s arm around her and the nose bleed would completely explain his DNA at the crime scene. As for Cameron, he’s been dishonest from the beginning and too many coincidences. Pawn shop, trying to cross country lines hours after her murder, etc etc etc. Not to mention, his anger and jealousy prior to the murder. She deserves justice and her family deserves answers! How sad.

Who goes to this length to remove any evidence from her body, but then throws evidence away in the apartment complex dumpster?

Yeah, that's odd. But also makes me think even more that the attacker was staying at the complex, too. Did not want to go far with the evidence and be connected via cameras or witnesses or phone movements.

Gosh that poor girl, I truly hope her case gets solved one day! I'm still stuck on the fact that no one really heard anything, it sort of makes me wonder if maybe it was two or more people who subdued her. Either way this sounds like it would have been a super hard case to solve regardless with how little dna was found, makes me so made that the killer(s) felt comfortable taking their time cleaning up the scene :(

Imagine being a convicted rapist and thinking you have the right to say the cops zoned in on you because you're black and not because you're a predator who was in the victim's home the night she was killed. Gross. Men like him don't change. And given how thoroughly the killer tried to get rid of evidence, makes me believe even more it was him. Rapists who are convicted and then released end up committing murder the next time because they don't want to go back. This case is awful and that poor innocent woman and her family were failed horribly. Smh this country is a joke.

I am not even the slightest bit sorry for that rapist of a 15 year old girl. 3 years would only be the very beginning of her life long PTSD from these rapes. So, no, I could care less he was wrongly imprisoned for 9 years and I am only sorry he ever got out.
@sherriholcombe5428
@sherriholcombe5428 11 ай бұрын
Are you not the least bit sorry because he's a black man and you feel his life doesn't matter? He was wrongfully accused of Arpana's rape and murder even though there was 3 other males' DNA at the scene. Justice in this country is very biased when it comes to black men and this case is glaring proof of that. LE didn't bother to look any further and gave the other possible perpetrator, Cameron, immunity as long as he testified to put the black man they wanted to pin it on. They didn't even investigate. They found a bkack man with a record and got tunnel vision. You like most people in this country,who aren't black,are a racist and I hope you never serve on a jury where the defendant is black. I already know how you'll vote...And concerning Emmanuel's history of raping a 15yr old,I would have to hear all the evidence before making a decision of guilt. If he was guilty,he deserved a prison sentence, but not for something he didn't do.

I 100% agree! I think it's the unfairness of it all. She did everything right. And more than that. She went above and beyond and made the world a better place! She contributed so much to society and that's just talking about her intellectual achievements. And then to suffer such a horrible fate. It's just so unfair. And then terrible people, literal monsters, live long healthy and happy lives while making society and the world a worse place for their existence. It's just so unfair. And I think we all know and have been told since we were children that the world isn't fair. But it's different to see it so blatant.

@WhitneyDahlin THAT is EXACTLY why you have to take safety measures to protect yourself. 1) lock doors and windows. 2) doorstop/door jams...to stop doors from being kicked in. 3) legal gun, defense knife,oc spray,tasers,etc to defend yourself. 4) eyes on 10 and 2, stay alert, and situational awareness. 5) learn a few self defense moves that you can practice a few minutes a day to commit to muscle memory. These moves will become automatic and will activate when you are attacked in similar situations. Stay prayed up🙏, stay alert,never put anything passed a sketchy acting person,stay mentally READY to go ALL OUT to defend yourself (even if you keel the attacker). 💯💯💯💪🏾🧔🏾‍♂️

Hearing Isreal Keyes’ name pop up in these cases is starting to feel like hearing Henry Lee Lucas’ name pop up. Just a scapegoat for people to throw into the mix when they have no other answers. That’s not a knock on this video and Danelle, by the way. Just the theory in general. I think it was either one of the two main suspects discussed here or someone else who attended the party who had just slipped under the radar.

If Cameron was off his medications and was infatuated with Arpana, is it possible that he went to her room after the attack, or during, and stumbled upon something he didn't want to see/couldn't process, and due to his mental health and worry of being blamed for the attack, or guilt for not doing something, he flipped out and started acting strange. He may have thought that what he saw was part of a mental health episode or something - might explain his immunity and the private conversations.

I donʻt know if I’m on board with the Israel Keyes theory- he seems to have been to careful in his crimes to risk being caught because he was noisy while kicking in a door or assaulting a victim. I think Cameron is the more likely perpetrator. Emmanuel should definitely be compensated for spending almost a decade behind bars, not only did he lose ten years of his life, but I also can’t imagine how much of an impact it had on his mental health it had. Thanks for always posting such interesting cases, your work is so appreciated and you have cultivated such an amazing and caring community here. I hope to one day visit the US, and you can be sure if I get there I will be timing it to coincide with Crime-Con to meet people like yourself and your community. This sounds nothing like Israel Keyes. It's sooooo different. All his crimes were totally random people alone, away from other people. He would never go into an apartment building from this. It also doesn't sound like his MO at all. It's also way too personal. It's a hard disagree.

Honestly I'm actually torn on being glad and not that he wasted a decade in prison, whether he did this or not. Are we collectively forgetting that he was initially suspected because he had a history of sexually assaulting a 15 year old girl??! Not just once....many times in fact. I'm still not even convinced he WASNT involved in this. Like someone else mentioned, a mentally ill person with an obsession problem, who also was trying to hook up with anyone he could that night, and also a person known for sexually attacking a young girl....they meet up that night alone for a brief time? Yeah that's not sus, like at all. Anyway to be honest, it feels like he FINALLY got the justice he deserved for not being punished initially. That was a truly tragic punishment for the horror he inflicted on an innocent child 😠 awful 😖

What’s weird is when you said that these kinds of crimes become more prominent late fall/winter months and Because my birthday is with in this timeframe I’ve always noticed that correlation and wondered why this was 🤷🏻‍♀️ in fact there are so many horrific crimes that have occurred in November in particular it would be fascinating to have some kind of explanation as to why that was😊

How tf has Cameron not been arrested and convicted? I think a jury would be able to convict on the simple fact that he said he COULD have done it but doesnt REMEMBER doing it. 🤦‍♀️

RIP Arpana 🖤 I hope her family and friends get justice in her name. I'm so very weary of the Seattle PD, personally.

This story is so far, very sad. A young woman killed in such a brutal way that had a bright future ahead. This case hit home for me. My fiancé, he is in computer science engineering currently in his masters. Breaks my heart that this happened to her. She deserves justice. She was merely 2 years older than me at the time of her death. My heart hurts for her family.

Going along the theory of a fire cover up, i wonder if the batteries for a smoke detector would have been removed. If so, the person that did it either was familar with the apartment or, had enough time to look for them knowing they wouldn't be caught by anyone. I think whoever it was, they definitely used the party to their advantage in one way or another.

As someone who was born and raised in Seattle, I unfortunately didn’t blink twice when you mentioned possible racial profiling. Redmond/Bellevue area is predominately white, (successful white folk I might add) and you’re right, there is no crime. It makes me think they just narrowed down on the first person of color with a criminal background at the party. Cameron was shady, the fact that the man who uttered racial slurs wasn’t questioned is shady… just a shady case and it sucks that this was all in my county. the way that the scene was cleaned and evidence was covered up makes me worried that whoever did this either did it before, or has did it again since. I pray the victims family get a conclusion. Rest easy my love, so sorry you left this world in such a horrible way.

Omg, I know where those apartments are. I grew up in Carnation, Wa, not far from Redmond. My dad used to take us to Marymoor Park. Rip sweet girl.

i feel like it was so obviously cameron & emmanuel. tbh idc if emmanuel rotted in jail for years. he should've been in jail longer for r*ping a FIFTEEN YEAR OLD. 3 years? the additional 7 still seems weak as a punishment for ruining a young girl's life. all the people in this story are evil except for Arpana and her fam

This is so heartbreaking 💔RIP Arpana. Even though her vicious murderer isn’t caught yet, the love for her by her family and community is a testament to a beautiful life lived. PS your hair really is so luxurious today and I’m wearing a very similar sweater as I watch this. I highly value your work and content. You share lesser known cases with dedicated thoroughness and such compassion and respect. Thank you. Edit: I thought the video was over… I am at a loss of what to think and who is guilty of this atrocity but there is no love lost for Emanuel, may he be haunted by all his crimes for the rest of his days and beyond.
