I called billing department and told them I don't have insurance but I'm willing to pay cash. My bill dropped down to $1400. That's like 3 months of insurance payments. I remember getting the itemized bill and they were charging me all sorts of crazy stuff like $25 for 2 Advil!!!! The whole insurance game is racket.

Taking emergency medical resources away from people who REALLY need it is disgusting! Where I live, and in most cities, last year alone, 83% of all emergency medical calls were for drug overdose or drug addicts! It's disgusting and a drain on resources needed for actual taxpayers.

I had to look up (NES) Non-epileptic seizures. Didn't know it was a thing. It didn't look like any seizure I've ever seen before.

My neurologists told me there are like 12 kinds of seizures. I was in a bad car accident over 30 years ago and I had a TBI (traumatic brain injury). While unconscious, the Drs said I had gran mal seizures. I died twice on way to be air cared to hospital. They got me back both times, but I have suffered seizures since. It's strange because my grandma also had seizures that they misdiagnosed as Epilepsy. She had non epileptic seizures like me. We also realized that I had probably been having focused seizures as a kid (they are where you stare into space for several minutes and can't move or speak. 2 of my nieces also have seizures. One outgrew hers, but here's started at 2 months old from high fevers. My other niece will seize if she sees blood. Also one of my grandson's eyes constantly twitch like he is having seizures. He has not had a full blown one and I'm hoping he doesn't. They are hell to live with. I have triggers with mine, such as strobe lights, being startled out of sleep, my monthly time sets them off, if I get sick, trauma to my body or head, heat, and several other things. I have learned to live around, but it sucks because it limits some things for me.

i trust the officer. i just wish the cams could not be shut off manually. soon as they put them on boom recording for the whole shift. that way nobody complains. i know he didnt shut it off it got turned off in the scuffle but someone will say he turned it off so he could do bad things

The camera shutting off is a huge red flag. The alleged biting of a cop could have been a complete lie since there's no photo of his injures but somehow the suspect sustained serious enough injuries to require an MRI. I doubt they were self inflicted. So much for police transparency....

That first lady, I actually felt for her. I hate when there are "good-hearted" people that get caught up in bad spots. I'm not saying she's innocent, she did the crime-gotta do the time. It's really incredible though when some compassion comes at the right time. She was tired, used, abused and over it all. I hope her hope is not lost.
