Anna and Coco's story is a touching reminder of the power of compassion and perseverance. Anna not only saved a horse's life, but also created a positive change in her community. She has proven that by believing in ourselves and pursuing the values we believe in, we can make a positive impact on the world around us.

Anna’s decision to buy a broken-down racehorse for a dollar defies the cynicism many people hold about “worthless” animals. Her act of compassion isn’t just about saving Coco-it’s a statement that value can’t be measured in dollars or past performance. Yet, this risky choice also highlights the emotional and financial toll such a rescue can impose. Anna’s determination to help a scarred, anxious horse is both commendable and a stark reminder that genuine kindness often comes with challenges many aren’t willing to face.

I happened to find two champion TB stallions forgotten and totally neglected. One from number 1 stud farm in Germany out of most famous parents. Their big income stolen by their "owners". I made the prophecy that if they treat the bank like their horses " I see their end coming on wings". So it happened on Pentecost 2009.

I’ve heard of stories like this, and it saddens my heart to think people are so greedy and selfish that do harm and cruelty towards animals, but also towards their children because they want something more than love, compassion, patience and kindness towards all life species….it doesn’t matter what species one comes from, ALL LIFE IS SACRED AND PRECIOUS….ALL LIFE IS EQUAL AND SHOULD BE GIVEN THE DIGNITY AND RESPECT IT DESERVES….ALL LIFE DEPENDS UPON LOVE FOR ITS SURVIVAL AND TO THRIVE….ALL SHOULD BE SHOWN LOVE, COMPASSION AND KINDNESS….WITHOUT IT WE ARE LOST AND MISGUIDED SOULS….HISTORY WILL REPEAT ITSELF AND HUMANITY WILL BECOME EXTINCT LIKE THE LIFE IT WANTS TO DESTROY BEFORE ITS TIME….👍❤️🙏🏼

A great deal of ex-race horses are sent to slaughter. Un fed! Uncared for and in very poor health. It’s just sad how inhumane people are! Makes me so sick. Thanks to awesome people like her some horses will live out their life with love and compassion. ❤

It's delightful to hear of a horse returned to health, but I found this story shallow in not dealing with specific injuries and their treatment, and not dealing with refeeding syndrome, a common problem with starved horses. Rescuing horses is usually very expensive and doesn't always end in a rebilitated horse. I wish all horse abusers would face rapid justice in the hands of the law.
