Spending majority of your time working is actually not fulfilling at all. People want to enjoy their lives without it involving working 24/7. Your job is not your identity!! I have a good career but you will never know it because I don’t even put it on my social media I only post traveling and hobbies! Again nothing is wrong with working but spending MAJORITY of our time working is a dead end. I’m happy we are realizing this and going against the grain!

Who would work for the water companies to keep us with clean running water? We could grow our own fruits and veggies but are yall meat eaters gonna grow and kill your own meat? lol are we gonna go back to hand building our own houses and growing grain to make bread from scratch? Are we gonna make toys from wood for our children? And make our own furniture? I could go on and on and on with examples lol but my point is, I very much think that we should return to some of the ways in which our ancestors lived thousands of years ago. BUT I’m aware that that means I’ll still be working sun up to sun down, just not in a 9-5 lol I just wonder if some of these folks realize that as humans, NONE of us asked to be here but we’re here. So if we wanna eat, we’ll have to do SOMETHING in order to eat, and no I don’t agree with how we currently live, I would rather return to traditional life styles but I’m under no delusions that I’ll get to stay home and do hobbies all day 🤣 unless I somehow hit the lotto and become part of the 1%

The problem is we're overproducing and we're not being compensated fairly. There are lots of people who love their jobs and there are some who dont but the money makes up for it. Go to farmers markets and pay them for their produce or meat. But if you're being paid pennues on the dollar, you can't afford fresh food so you have to eat junk food that'll f-up your physical and mental health and make working so much feel even worse. If everyone monetize their talents/gifts they can create more competition and that translates to better controlled pricing and fairer wages. It's good to make profits but not at the expense of your workers. Also, some things should just not be monetized in my opinion but I know how the U.S. loves to hate on social programs and laws to protect the people's human rights.

I agree with the original stitch! 💯 I'd rather be disabled and collect benefits. 🤷 If I didn't ask, nor choose, nor consent to be born, I shouldn't have to work! I was told that the world didn't "owe" me anything! And yet, you want people to work, be wage-slaves and contribute to society as a "collective"? 🤔 If the world "doesn't owe" me anything, I don't owe it anything either! Again, I NEVER put myself here! Who the hell would voluntarily choose to be born in this world??? I sure as hell wouldn't! Mind you, its weird how mfs want people to work and then will simultaneously PREVENT people from working via rejection! I've had people suggest volunteering to me! Mind you I'm disabled! And even if I wasn't, volunteering is an absolute hell no! I don't believe in free labor without pay! That's the equivalent to slavery! I'm so glad I'm happily single and happily childfree! The fact that there's people still reproducing is disgusting and selfish! I've been financially controlled/abused before (*as well as abused in other ways!*) If there's no money to dangle in someone's face, the better! I agree with the original stitch! I don't see anything "wrong" with not working! Everything in this world should be free for the taking! I mean, if you're going to continue to overpopulate the planet with lives that NEVER asked, nor chose, nor consented to be born, the LEAST you can do is make the world free and abolish money and jobs!

@@smfarrie2943 I don't have to be careful about what I wish for. Also, I technically never "wished" to be disabled, as I ACTUALLY AM disabled. Sadly if people actually cared about their fellow man there would be systems in place where we could just exist in some type of shared economy where people volunteered for points to live and housing was taken care of. We cannot even get people to vote for universal healthcare though which is one of the reasons folks also have to work. I really wish they would get rid of cover letters, college degrees, GEDs/highschool diplomas, ROUNDS of interviews and references! Unpopular opinion: When you really think about it, everything you need to know, as far as the basics, has been learned in elementary school. Highschool is unnecessarily hard and college is unnecessarily harder! Honestly, why TF do you need a highschool diploma/GED to do ANY ENTRY-LEVEL jobs??? I'm talking cashier, Uber, Lyft, fast food, etc. Why do you need a highschool diploma/GED for that??? Much less, a college degree?! And then to make matters WORSE, you're not even going to check to see if I have those things or not! So why ask?! Are you gonna go through EVERY SINGLE SCHOOL TRANSCRIPT I have and look at EVERY SINGLE GRADE I've gotten since preschool??? If not, why TF are asking about something that: 1. You're not going to check on 2. Doesn't pertain/relate to the job in question Why do that? Now, I NEVER technically "dropped out" of highschool. I also NEVER got expelled. BUT...I was told by my school counselor that I needed to leave because if I didn't, it would've only gotten worse for me being in that highschool. My highschool was HORRIBLE! The bullying, the shitty teachers, its too much to even try to articulate! Just know it was bad and I think my school counselor was trying to look out for me. Anyway, after trying to get transferred to another school and NONE of the schools would accept me in, I didn't have a choice but to get my equivalency! I was 18 when I immediately went and 23 by the time I was done! It was A LOT! I regret getting that p.o.s. piece of paper because: 1. My mom wanted me to promise her that I'd finish. I kept the promise and I regret doing so! A person with deteriorating health shouldn't be asking someone to make them any promises! Its not fair to the person they're asking! They may not be able to keep any promises and they also may not want to! 2. Getting my equivalency didn't benefit me like I was LIED to and said it would! It did NOTHING for me! Which is why I'm glad I'm not a college graduate! I'm glad I don't have a degree! I don't have debt either! Why TF do you need more than ONE interview?! I've heard people talk about how they had to do 2+ interviews with people and I'm like, "why though? 🤔 That's suspicious as hell! " IDGAF what anyone says; anything beyond ONE interview is WAY TOO MUCH! That's an interrogation! That's harassment! Either give that person the job or stop DISRESPECTING their time! You're "yanking their chain" and they didn't come there for that! Why TF do you need a "cover letter"?! As a matter of fact, WTF even is a cover letter?! Let's start there! Why does someone have to SALE themselves to you like a slave or a prostitute for a raggedy job that doesn't pay well?! I'm NOT for sale! If you want to see how I am as worker, get TF up off YOUR ass and TEACH ME what I'm supposed to do! Instead of EXPECTING me to come in already knowing what to do! It doesn't work that way! The same way someone had to teach you how to do the job you have now, why TF can't you do the same and pass the torch to someone else?! Hire me, PAY ME and TEACH me! ITS THAT SIMPLE!!!!! Why TF do you need "references?" Do you have any idea how sad, miserable, mentally inept and pathetic you have to be to NOT be willing or maybe even able to come up with an original thought of your own? 🤔 Instead, you wanna gossip, sip tea and piggyback off what someone else has to say about a job seeker! And everyone doesn't have a reference(s)! Like, why do you feel the need to contact person "A" about person "C"? If person "C" is the job seeker and person "B" is the employer and person "A" is the reference, why are you contacting person "A"??? Why not hire and pay person "C" and formulate your OWN opinion about person "C" instead of piggybacking off of person "A"!

It's ridiculous. I swear America needs to look at other countries that have great work-life balance and then we do the same. We need to lower the cost somehow. The citizens cannot afford it anymore. Yes, you can spend 1 Billion in a lifetime. If you spend it frivolously, you can purchase some mansions, yachts, and private planes. Every animal on earth works to stay alive, and we actually have it a lot easier sitting around inside buildings than we would in nature. In nature, you’d have to hunt down or gather anything you wanted to eat or use. You’d have to butcher the animals, tan hides, make fires, make beads from bones, take down the tents and move every 3 days when the animals move to find more grass, etc. You’d have to build and do everything yourself. Most of us have never had a hard job even one day in our lives, but our attitude makes it much harder. Go to the Museum of the Native American in NYC. Could you live like those people? Probably not.
