Highly intuitive as a child, Shawna Ristic grew up in a more traditional world that valued reason and physical experiences and discredited her more paranormal experiences, causing her to lose her deep connection and ability to trust her intuition.
A catastrophic car accident at the age of 19 changed the course of her life. Shawna had a near-death experience (NDE) and was in a coma for several weeks. During the NDE, She awakened to the love that is the fabric of everything, a vibration that holds everything and is the essence of each of us. She was introduced to a group of light beings from the other side that shared many messages with her. She later came to know them as the Council.
Upon awakening from the coma, it was as though Shawna’s 6th sense, the intuitive felt sense, had been blasted back open as well as a strong desire to help others heal and find their way back to the Truth she had experienced. Her renewed psychic awareness and new understanding of the world would facilitate her work from this point forward.
Guided towards massage as her chosen modality for helping others heal and channel her psychic abilities, after more than 20 years of honing her skills in massage and anatomy, as well as training with shamans, intuitives, psychics and energy healers, Shawna’s work transforms her clients in incredible ways.
Upon moving to California in 2015, opportunities began to open that valued Shawna’s intuitive abilities as much as her hands on abilities. She now offers In-person Individual Private Sessions in Santa Cruz and Los Gatos, California and Distanced Intuitive Sessions worldwide through Zoom and phone.
Together, with her husband, author and spiritual teacher Nikola Anandamali Ristic, she offers group events and retreats in Santa Cruz, California.

She is the only person that has described so accurately what the light beings look like. I too had an experience with a light being. The light being that came through the wall of my room just stood there and then phased back into the wall vanishing. The light being's body was a perfect outline of a human and the entire body was made of roiling multicolored light energy twirling in small galaxy patterns all over its body. No outline of hair or anything, just like a bald head. I'll never forget it. I can't remember consciously if anything was said between me and the being but my higher self or maybe subconscious mind may have communicated with the being. It was in a time of my life when I was going through a dark night of the Soul and meditating every day for a few hours and chanting to cleanse the Chakras.

Great Interview Alex with a Beautiful Human Being. Totally get the Boundaries especially as an Empath. It took me 30 Years after my NDE from the age of 14 to create Boundaries or Parameters with my Empathy. My life dramatically changed in 2022 after the passing of my beautiful Mother on Good Friday. Mum was also an Empath but amongst her beautiful heart she was always giving and there were many many takers. At the viewing I remember feeling a level of peace to know that she was free from familial torments and that I also became free from them. Two days after the funeral while at home with my wife and teenage kids I noticed a static noise coming from the ground level from the garage. I noticed that my dog was just looking down the stairway but not making any sound. I was quite scared and was sure that someone had broken into our home through our garage. I called out several times but just static coming from the garage. When I opened the internal door and switched the lights on I felt the temperature immediately drop and at that moment my Beautiful Mother was there in front of my eyes. She looked years younger and there was a glow of light illuminating. I realised that my Mum came to say goodbye to me. I watched her Spirit move outwards away and there was a mist 🌫️ and she disappeared. On my return upstairs my wife looked at me and said What happened you like you saw a ghost”

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother 8 years ago and she was the love of my life. I have experienced blasts of cold air and other odd things with my lights that I can't explain. I also see her birth year in numbers constantly. They show up a lot and I sat down and wrote number of times I saw the sequence of numbers from number of occurrences of just seeing numbers and it was well above chance and on multiple days. Going against my intuition always results in harm.or suffering. Last time I didn't listen to my intuition, it ended up in a real mess. The whole time I was furious with myself for going against my gut. I decided not again!

I haven't had an NDE, but I've been working through a brutal kundalini awakening and I relate to some of the experiences she's talking about --- the life review. I used to think that I was an innocent, victimized, good person. Suddenly it was like I was cracked open and I could see and feel how many times I had hurt people for selfish reasons, even tiny things like interrupting a conversation. I also realized that I had never really known love, like true unconditional love. It changed me forever, and now I'm looking to go into a path of healing and service, although I don't know how it's going to play out yet.

This is exactly what I have experienced as well. I have had several NDE’s and it’s true you don’t want to come back!! There is only PURE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and it’s beyond explanation! Language is not a vehicle to explain the experience. The last one I was asked “isn’t there anyone you would go back for?” Then I was shown a path or direction I was supposed to go. And you argue for a bit but you know it’s futile. So you come back and you don’t remember everything till you need it!!! Thank you for this channel!!!

I had read the book the Exorcist. A week later I went to sleep in the front bedroom of my girlfriends house. We have since been married 47 years. As I was falling asleep a dogman came and stood at the foot of the bed. I let out a scream or yell and my girlfriend came running. She said the room was totally filled with Sulphur smoke. As the being stood there looking a lot like a German shepard I realized it had our human intellect which is when I yelled. Scary.

During my 15 years as a (clinical) massage and Reiki therapist, I sometimes had light beings that used to guide me during a particularly difficult session. I was told they were Psychic Surgeons. Results were always amazing when they were present and occasionally (and unknowingly) verified by the patient's doctors. The light beings looked just the same as Shawna described and they were tall, really tall. It was an awesome time in my life.

The first time this client came in, during the Reiki session I "saw" that she had something that looked really wrong (wrong colors) to me in the upper part of her abdomen on the right side. As was my custom when observing that type of thing, I told her she should get it checked out by a doctor. Ten days later, she was back for another session. She asked me to check out that area again but now, instead of the white-hot energy I observed before, I couldn't see anything other than what looked like a black hole. (Observing blackness represents an absence of energy to me.) It was then that she told me that she had gone to the doctor as I had suggested and was recovering from gall bladder surgery. I proceeded with my Reiki treatment, asking silently for help from Jesus, Archangel Raphael and our combined spirit guides for guidance. During the session. I observed the black hole starting to fill in from the edges inward. I mentioned that to my client and also told her that the (massage) table was surrounded by tall light beings that were helping me. It was then that she told me she was a psychic medium and that she saw those beings too and called them Psychic Surgeons. It was an intense session! She came back again the next week and said that during her post-procedure check up with the doctor, they thought there was something wrong with their MRI machine as it was showing a perfectly healthy gall bladder. IT was an awesome experience in my life. I was so grateful to have served "them" in that manner.

I wish we had stricter laws with phones and driving here. There's so many accidents in my city because of people looking at their phones. A car full of teenagers leaving work were all killed in my city recently because another driver was looking at her phone while driving. 😩 Someone needs to invent something to go in vehicles that makes the phone screen turn off while the vehicle is in drive and have it installed into all vehicles. Something has got to give.

I really hope you interview Daniel Ingram and hear his instructions on how anyone can become enlightened. For those who don’t know about him, he’s a retired ER doctor and self-described arahant (the last step before Buddahood). He has also founded the EPRC (Emergent Phenomenology Research Consortium), which includes researchers from the top universities. It works on integrating the phenomena associated with the enlightenment process into mainstream western medicine. He’s a truly fascinating individual.

I thought Shawna did a masterful job of describing how our life is interconnected so broadly & deeply w/ so many others, which few of us realize. Our passing can be a very disturbing influence if it's at the "wrong" time; it made me think of the greatest movie of all time, "It's a Wonderful Life." I've watched it so many times & it never fails to draw me in. That's probably why b/c George Bailey gets to see just how deep & powerful his influence on others is, but not literally from the afterdeath, which I think ppl need to start calling the "afterlife" b/c life never ends, we just change form or state. Her story is a powerful reminder that having a NDE means you're not having a good day. We can all take a hint from her story that we risk dire consequences if we habitually ignore the small, quiet urgings of our souls. Just as Alex & Shawna know this, I grok this from experience.

I was in a very serious rollover vehicle wreck ejected from a rolled vehicle. Massive internal injuries. Can you do a chapter for "blueprint" because that's the one I usually like to stop on 😊 thank you. Also interesting how she uses the name to get more information on a person because that's what people use for the akashic record. Also I like how she was referencing dropping into herself and the other person instead of boundaries. It would be nice for a part two on her where she can explain the dropping in process more in depth. Like a live tutorial where people can do it with her and ask questions. Thanks 🙏❤️
