To Bart's point of the plane staying still while driving, I've heard that since the car is going the opposite direction and the plane is about to land, the plane is slowing down. It seems like the plane is still but it's actually not. There's something about the camera's shutter speed affects it too. Yes I'm fun at parties

I went to the source link to look at the picture, and you can faintly see the steam coming out at the tip, and you can faintly see the outline of the top of the plume of steam. To me it's not that interesting because it's literally just about perspective and the light reflecting. Btw I haven't watched the video, just clicked out of interest and checked out the source.

I'm pretty for sure they go over this: It is all about light. Basicly the way the light goes through the steam, bounces off the mirror and back onto it and out eyes are the issues. Think of the steam like a shadow or cloud. Not all the light will escape through it. So it creates a shadow that the mirror reflects.

@@triscuit9074 yes. Let me lead my answer with another question/fact. If you try to cast a shadow off a flame, you never will sense a flame is a type of light. However you can still feel the flame. The humidity is still there. It is just very small water particles in the air going up.

Of course its a lighting issue. However I thought it was caused by the lighting angle and not the steams shadow. From where she is standing u can clearly see the light is coming in thru the window on the left which is illuminating right in front and behind the diffuser but not towards the back of the room where she is standing. However the reflection is starring back at her towards the back of the room where the light is not as bright making the steam stand out because the background is darker from the mirrors perspective

For all I know, planes need to stay in one spot for a little while because of traffic in the air or on the ground of the airport. Sometimes there are delay in a plane that landed late so other planes cannot land until that plane on the ground will get settled down. Or else they will clash. I live about 2 min a way from the airport so I see it too often to question about it until it was mentioned by Bart so surprisingly hahah
