My add on: Linda’s mother was able to give her the medication she needed, and she eventually made a full recovery. Due to being found guilty for kidnapping Linda, Carla had to pay a $10,000 fine and was sentenced to prison for 8 years. Carla was also disowned by her mother, her brother, Linda, and Marsha, and she never saw any of them again.

During her jail time, Carla was forced to see a therapist, in order for her to understand what she had done. As Carla attended to her sessions, she gradually began to realize her mistake, and remembered what her mom and Marsha said. She now begins to regret what she did to Linda, and wished she had asked for help sooner. But as we all know, even if Carla gets out, she won’t be able to turn to anyone for any help at all.

Carla also went to seek psychiatric hospital help, because she couldn't take it anymore of how wrong she was, so the that same hospital accepted her in and gave her some help and they lock her up in a straight jacket to keep her from hurting herself, and she was mentally and emotionally unstable to herself and Carla learnt to deal with herself no one else wanted to, and so they gave her lots and lots of drugs to help her stable herself, and she became high and addicted, and she started rocking back and forth, to herself, but she was sad that her mom and sister and friend disappeared from her life, and so she accepted all of the things the psychiatrist had to say and he or she helped her, and she was forced to deal with herself and with reality, That's my side and thought of what to Carla in this story of events,

The family didn't know what to do with Linda, said Carla. It sounds like Carla wanted Linda to be put somewhere so her mom, nor her would have to care for Linda. Yes, it is tough seeing a mom being a caregiver and it is tough being the caregiver of a family member, but having the infirm person being cared for by family is much better than putting them in an institution/rest home. And Carla was too prideful to let others help her and turned that anger onto her sister. Understandable, but still very selfish of her.
