I am a mid-age Japanese woman. I am very sorry that the soldiers of that time inflicted on you & your people. I live in Canada, where your 1st husband came from, & wake up with gratitude every morning that God has given me another day to live & giving me another chance. I shared your amazing story with my husband & several friends. I believe that your testimony of the love for God will reach far & wide to touch the hearts of many. I hope that officer who cried in his bedroom remembered what you shared & converted at the end. We have many complaints in our lives, but I clearly see that we "owe" to God tremendously & cannot waste another minute thinking & wishing what we don't have or what we want, but rather we need to give our lives to His good use as your example, & "all the way in". I have listened to this lady's story 3 times today. It is amazing and awesome her relationship with our Father God and His Son our Saviour Jesus ChristI.i have a friend whose aunt went through the Japanese internment camp and tells a similar story of Mr Jaffrey and God's Presence with her during this time. She lived to 104.

I am Asian not Japanese, but I heard a lot of horrible stories from my parents who live and experienced the cruelty of WW2when Japanese's invaded my hometown ( I was not botrn yet then) but my parents had 3 little children by then , life was hard for them. BUT NOTHING compared to this woman Darlene. I was doing my walk exercise , and was CRYING over an hour listening to this. Hope I can remember her suffering and faithfulness and her strong faith in EXTREME difficulties.

I am speechless, such a Woman with a Capital W. Extremely intelligente, superior mind and the most humble spirit. Survived rats, maggots, worms,, mosquitoes, filth, starvation, malaria, abuse, ridicule, shame, bombs, and much more, but she stood tall and strong in the midst of all that suffering. I need to stop complaining because my suffering is nothing compared to what she has suffered for Christ's sake. She still look very beautiful even if she has gone through all the testings and trials. I treasure and admire such faith, but I can't comprehend it... or God's thoughts, but those are far, far above mine. I think it can only only be through the power of the Holy Spirit that there are some who can withstand such suffering with so much grace and trust. My spirit is willing, but my flesh is so very weak. That troubles me greatly and I pray I will not fail if ever God calls me worthy for chastening! What an incredible woman of faith and an American hero! I have never seen such woman godly hood as this lady. I have never heard her testimony, but yesterday, something just caught my eye on part 1. I clicked on it and I began to listen. In the very beginning, there was something she said, that gave a confirmation from the Lord. As her, the Lord gives confirmation to me through others, whether a testimony or a sermon. During her entire testimony I was weeping. She endured great trial and tribulations held captive. Yet her faith remained, and the lord not once forsaken her. He was in the midst. She reminded me of a female version of the Apostle Paul. Great peace came over me, like none other listening to Ms. Darlene's testimony. Jesus needed me to hear for a specific reason, and he led me to this video. She is an example of womanly faith, and how we should walk, as women of faith. Thank you lord for all you give and continue to give. You Lord Jesus are the author and finisher of our faith.

I Thank YOU for YOUR Grace which was sufficient during the most harshest days of her life and for YOUR LIVING WORDS that she kept engraved in her storehouse in which The Holy Spirit would plant in her heart ❤️ to remind her of GOD’s FAITHFULNESS AND PROMISES to her every time she was in need of HIS encouraging WORDS to lift her spirit up and my oh my LORD JESUS as I wept 😭 with JOY because I am reminded every day for we are sheeps to slaughter every day listening to Ms. Darlene’s very soft and kind voice I cried 😭 out and Thanked YOU LORD JESUS for choosing such an amazing Friend whom’s earthen vessel assisted in raise up nations who would come to LOVE YOU ABBA and become FOLLOWERS IN THE WORD OF GOD aka JESUS CHRIST! Through her Walk and in her obedience to THE WORD OF GOD she, her husband, and and all those brave missionaries who have walked through the roughest of unpaved paths led so many blessed people to JESUS! GOD IS AN INTENTIONAL GOD and it was intentional that this testimony came to me when it did so Thank YOU LORD JESUS because I TRUST everything that YOU have predestined for my Life. I am encouraged from Ms. Darlene’s testimony my LORD JESUS that YOU have something amazing me to walk into for 2022, and it has nothing to do with me but everything to do with YOUR Plans for Me. I am grateful for Ms. Darlene because YOU gave her a fearless boldness to walk into whatever YOU had planned for her life and she TRUSTED YOU with all of her even when she felt there was no way she could continue on, YOU Pushed her through it and forward. LORD JESUS, may I too be a fearless and bold woman in my Walk in Faith as Ms. Darlene was who endured such pain and suffering yet she obediently took every project YOU tasked her with. My goodness LORD JESUS this was such a powerful testimony and an amazing encouragement for ALL of Us who were Chosen for YOUR WILL and PURPOSE. THANK YOU El Shaddai (Lord God Almighty); El Elyon (The Most High God); Adonai (Lord, Master); Yahweh (Lord, Jehovah); Jehovah Nissi (The Lord My Banner); Jehovah Raah (The Lord My Shepherd); Jehovah Rapha (The Lord That Heals); Jehovah Shammah (The Lord Is There); Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord Our Righteousness); Jehovah Mekoddishkem (The Lord Who Sanctifies You); El Olam (The Everlasting God); Elohim (God); Qanna (Jealous); Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Will Provide); Jehovah Shalom (The Lord Is Peace); and Jehovah Sabaoth (The Lord of Hosts). I AM ENCOURAGED! Let’s Go JESUS Let’s Go!
