Back in the earlier days of internet, 1994, I warned someone who was innocently being too friendly. Giving away information like his full name, that he has a 13 year old daughter, the town he lived in. I told him from that alone, I could figure out which school his child attended, his home address and phone number. Luckily, I'm a harmless, honest university student studying to be a teacher, and warned him. I'm glad someone was good enough to let this lady know what had happened.
