This seems almost like sexual assault to me. If consent is considered a factor in sexual assault, and lying to someone can revoke consent, then that case can definitely be made. Changing someone’s nasty used pads or tampons is NOT something anyone would have done under any circumstances, except for if she were legitimately ill...but she isn’t. She lied. They change the feminine products, clean them up along with the urine and defecation and blood. Then the nurses come in and have to get a clean catch on them. Bethany even said, the other campers who truly have muscular dystrophy still didn't ask her to change their pads or help them use the restroom. It's like Sarah was wanting her to go the extra mile just to see how much she could get Bethany to do for her, how much she could degrade her. I used to volunteer at a nursing home and I would brush people's dentures, help them bathe, change their diapers, bedpans, etc. It was no problem, I didn't mind. But to have someone who is actually able-bodied that just wanted to make you help them with such intimate things, just to see how far they can go, is really wicked.

I wanted to share my perspective as somebody with a lifelong disability. for the most part, even if you need adaptive equipment or struggle a little, disabled people prefer to do what they can by themselves. especially if you know you have a degenerative condition, you will do what you can before you loose that ability. it can also be very difficult emotionally to have to rely on other people for such intimate care, you feel very vulnerable when people have to help with basic tasks like going to the bathroom or bathing. when I see people fake being disabled, I notice that they always have to have the most severe presentation ever. it's not enough to simply be disabled, they have to be the most disabled, the most fragile, the most complex patient. so even compared to people who truly have muscular dystrophy this faker had to one up them by requiring the most intensive care. its also pretty typical of Factitious disorder to want somebody to take care of you, to feel loved and important

As a 17 year old with Avascular Necrosis, this is downright ugly. It's so offensive and shameful. Embarrassing for me and everybody else that actually struggle everyday.

Soooooo did no one pick up on the fact that she was a very “healthy “ look woman to be having muscular dystrophy?!! I mean look at her ! She’s like 400 pounds !!!!

that's... no, that's not 400 lbs there friend. try again.

@@arsvivendi2636 clearly you didn’t hear my subtle yet not so subtle sarcasm there “friend”. Try again with your comment 🧐

@@audramuth4147 first of all, that's not sarcasm, that's hyperbole. if it were sarcasm, you would be clearly implying (through not implying) that she's a whale. she may be a heinous person, but that's not 400 lbs lmao.

What bugs me is that this wonderful caregiver could have been helping someone who really needed to help and the camp experience, and the liar's decision to take advantage of the caregiver negated someone else getting the help and experience.

This is very. My goodness. People definitely have issues. And my guess, is she wasn't loved enough as a child/teen so she's trying to fill that in other ways. She feels that the only way for people to love and care for her is if she has a severe physical illness

My sister died of muscular dystrophy when she was 13. It was the worst day of my life and I’m 34 next month. She was a loving person. This is evil!

Bethany, I want to thank you as well for what you are doing for the community with that camp. I also want to ask if it can help those with Asperger's syndrome, such as me.

People lie its something all humans do its just something people seem yo gavr w need for. And we accept this nobody is 100% truth. But! I can never condone somone who would take having cancer or any terminal illness. Cancer destroys lives and hurts both the victim of the disgusting illness and those who love them as you have to watch that person slip away and it's heart breaking. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enamy and I think this woman is just disgusting to try and use that as an excuse.
