I think its important to add the following after saying you are going to resell their family treasures "They will go to a home where someone will be so excited to have them and will be taken care of" ....That was hard to watch there I gotta say. I appreciate the hustle but you gotta have a little more heart in a situation like that...right? Your a good person you probably were swept away by the amount of cool vintage..

I didn't have castle greyskull. I had a Navarone. And to see that box again flashed me back to Christmas 80something. My mom junked the box, I never needed it...I played with it always. When playing always required imagination. Thank you

There were a lot of other sales going on that day. People do start to come while I'm there. But, I was surprised how slow it was as it can usually get chaotic when toys are involved.

I am very close to Dayton in Cincinnati, and I show up to sales a 1/2 hour early, catch the people setting up and they already sold what I went there for. They say someone knocked on their door at 7 am, got a bunch of game stuff or all the records, and I send messages and stuff to start doing what I guess almost everyone is doing apparently. Some yard sale people was saying they had people knocking on their door 2 days before sale was even scheduled. I guess I will never find anything if people are knocking doors when the ad goes up. Nevertheless great finds again. BTW I know Holden that you see at sales a lot up there. He is an excellent picker, He knows his stuff.

I think it’s so comical how you are just leisurely going box by box and looking at the pieces even having the time to open them and check battery compartments. In my area (CT), at a sale like that, you would be elbow to elbow with at least 12 other resellers ransacking and would have no time to actual inspect the goods. You have to run, make a pile and pay and hope you did ok. You don’t know how good you have it.

It's like that in my area too. He definitely early birded that sale, they were still setting up, and surprisingly, no one else showed up. I'm guessing their ad didn't say Marx vintage toys, etc., which again helped him score as well.

I had a doll house just like that. When you took the lid off the box of furniture for the house and I saw it, it made me happy and sad! I was happy because mine gave me so much joy but sad because I don't have it anymore! Good buy on all those games and toys!!!
