@pookie453 because our company deals with scammers daily, we have contacts and friends everywhere. We call the secret service in Turkey-- they also work with CIA on a daily basis -- they find him and put him in jail. People like him also abduct women and sell then to ISIS. Yeah, really surprised with the overall narrative here. She clearly has issues with her mental faculties and emotional development, and totally lacks the provisions and support required for someone who is so clearly starved for any form of affection or interaction. You can see the eyes of a neglected child in her face and I'm not excusing anything, but it takes a degree of callousness to leave someone to their inevitable demise if you have any kind of personal awareness of their predicament. Again, that doesn't oblige anyone, but there is a degree of inevitable liability insofar as those in her life have a choice to make, and I can only wonder for their sake how things got to this extent. She isn't even close to being incompetent enough to be declared legally incompetent. Even adults with milder forms of diagnosed intellectual disabilities or early stages of dementia are legally protected from having their independence/autonomy taken from them by legitimately concerned, loving and responsible family members. There is this concept sometimes referred to an adult's "right to be foolish"...It's why the courts can't stop Grandpa from sending every penny he has to a 20-something Filipina hottie who says she is in love with him and wants to marry him, or Grannie from sending all of her $ to some religious fraud. Families watch their loved-ones impoverish themselves (and any inheritance drain away) . The court will step in, if they ever step in, when it's far too late.

@@davidfrench5407 it’s too easy to go down the path of assuming that they’ve been abused or that their ex was a terrible person. So everybody else seems to be as flabbergasted as I am. This woman has six children and none of them are talking to her? Six children and she’s living in a fucking shelter? There is something much deeper than her talking to a romance scammer. She probably stole money from them to send to the scammer. There’s no way they’re this mad at her to cut her off like this. It makes no sense. There’s something much much deeper going on. Her self confidence and self-esteem is nonexistent. I mean she said her ex left her for her friend so that’s going to hurt a person. But shit lady what the hell did you do to make all six of your children just disown you? I’m gonna need an update on her in her life after this because this is just crazy.
@user-sf9gs2pg1b Жыл бұрын
Maybe her kids just don’t want to take care of her? Plenty of people feel they don’t owe their parents anything. No need to have money stolen or anything like that. That being said, if it is the case that she had wronged them, her ex husband didn’t sound like the best person, maybe he was abusive to her and her kids and her kids resent her for not leaving him or maybe since the divorce they sided with him emotionally. I know sometimes people pick sides with that stuff.

If a guy calls you "my love" in the first 5 minutes, it's a bit of a red flag. How can she be "his love" if they've never met and know little or nothing about each other?

I'm so confused why she would still be hoping/believing this guy is real and still hoping for a relationship with him. He's destroyed her entire life. She's lost connection with her kids, she's lost her home and is now homeless, she's lost ANY level of financial security, she's been charged with a felony and is looking at over a decade in prison time. All the while, this guy is acting like none of it is a big deal and it's just a stupid misunderstanding. I wouldn't be surprised if he's still asking her for money. Even if he WAS real, why on Earth would you want to continue this "relationship"??
