It's because these shows don't like to present stories that go wrong. "I didn't know I was pregnant and lost the baby" doesn't make such a nice story. It happened to two of my friends though. It is probably more common than this. From what one of them told me, she would have mistaken it for a strong period if she didn't have medical training and decided to check.

I wonder how this mom is so calm and smiling after her teen daughter delivers a baby but was actually sent for studies

I wouldn’t imagine if my friend had the same thing. I would freak out & say, “how can you not know that you’re pregnant?”

I remember my labor pains. Glad I knew I was pregnant with my kids I was able to prepare..when I was having my son he got stuck under my pelvic bone. When he finally came out I saw why he got stuck. His head was big. It took 13 hours to have him. When I had my daughter it took 8 hours to have her. I'm glad I knew I was pregnant

Me too. If they did that to me in real life. I’ll passed out from seeing that huge needle. What’s that needle for?

What is saddest about these stories is that all these women are so used to being in severe pain with menstrual cramps that they wait hours and delay seeking medical care.

right like how do you endure so much pain. my cramps are so light compared to them 🤭

I started crying when she took off the cord from the baby’s neck. The baby’s face looked so sad and when he started crying I gasped and said ‘OH THANK GOD HE WAS SO CUTE’
