Wombats can be quite territorial as well since they can get very aggressive not only that but despite being short and stubby looking wombats are actually quite stocky animals and can even knock a person over if they charge a great force they've also been known to bite people aswell

Common wombats are also called bare nosed wombats. Koalas also have rear facing pouches. This allows the joey to pap when he reaches a certain age. Northern koalas are smaller, have, less hair and lighter grey coats than their southern brothers and sisters. The Southern koalas are bigger, have thicker, charcoal grey or chocolate and grey coats.(to keep them warm. The Northern koalas need to stay cool.) Koalas and wombats look very similar. I like to call wombats land koalas, as there is spo much similarity between them. The oldest living wombat was Patrick, who lived to be 33! He was ginormous, too! They needed a wheelbarrow to tote him around, lol!

I’m a train driver in Geraldton, mid west Australia, 400kms north of Perth… Whilst driving a grain train yesterday, we had a reddy brown wombat run over the track in front of us… We were going slow, and it was no mistake that it was a wombat.

I went to the San Diego zoo to see the Wombats and didn’t even see them there. If you can’t even see them in captivity then it must be impossible to see them in the wild. The zookeeper said they’re nocturnal and not out during the day. What’s the point of the exhibit?

Wombats have to be my favorite non-domesticated animal. They're adorable, and I really wish I could have one as a pet sometimes, but I didn't know there was a line of them that are endangered. You guys are awesome, thanks for doing this episode.

I live near place called healesville I've seen them a few times once I had to stop my car on a dirt track while the wombat just lazily waddled past me (completely ignored me an just strolled on off but rarely see them)
