Wombat mate im 27. When I was in my early twenties I used to hit the session hard. Loved it. Lived for it. As the years went on the fun wore off and the side effects got stronger. Took a 360 step and went deep into studying health, nutrition and longevity. From the research I've done, the problem likely lies in your gut. Gut health is vital for holistic human health. So many people have crook guts, however, their symptoms manifest in other areas of their body... depression, anxiety, skin issues, sore joints etc.. So many chronic illnesses/pain is a direct result of underlying systemic inflammation which often stems from your gut. If your eating shit food which contributes to an unhealthy microbiome (bacteria in your gut) you are setting yourself up for underlying inflammation. I used to have absolutely crippling anxiety. Drugs momentarily removed this in the short term but aggravated it in the long term. I had a comprehensive stool analysis which showed I had a bad microbiome dysbiosis. Essentially, I had an overgrowth of bad pathogenic bacteria and barely any good bacteria. I saw a naturopath who helped me kill off the bad guys and replenish and restore the good ones. Anxiety completely vanished. Inflammatory skin issues like psoriasis and eczema completely vanished. Changed my bloody life mate. I started to see the world with new light. So refreshing. Thank god. I was desperate. Its definitely worth investigating. There are also plenty of people having tremendous results with mental health issues by eating a whole food paleo/ketogenic diet, carnivore diet (Meat only. Sounds crazy but is fkn legit...have a search on the net.. So many people who were on strong anti dep/anxiety meds are curing seemingly incurable mental health issues. Search Mikaela Peterson and have a look at her story. Very interesting) and intermittent fasting. Anyways mate fair play to ya, keep up the good tracks and do not ever stop fighting to regain who you were meant to feel and be!
