Best voice ever no matter what he sang ❤ love him believe it or not I was 11 when I first heard what in the world he was on American Bandstand then some others too many to mention he was great but always overlooked i think but I still the think he should of been in Hall of Fame ...I'm 71 now and I guess Jack Scott in his late 70's I still love this guy thanks to KZbin I can still watch his videos and listen to his songs he also seems to.have a wonderful sense of humor I guess he wrote the song my true love for his wife ❤ very lucky lady.

What a amazing opportunity to see one the biggest 50's and 60's household names of rock and roll. And to listen to him perform his hits in person. What I wouldn't give. I have sang his songs most my live and I'm in my 60's. he is a talented man.

Jack Scott was born Giovani Scafone Jr in Windsor Ontario Canada in 1936, At the age of 10 Jacks family moved over to Hazel Park, Michigan Where he graduated High School in 1954. He was a very popular figure in the Detroit Area Music Scene as he was trying to hon his craft in music business around Oakland County, Michigan in the middle to late 1950's Jack had a hit single in August 1958 with My True Love along with hits Leroy and Goodbye Baby it was in 1960 when he switched labels to Top Rank that Jack had his two biggest singles to date with Burning Bridges and What In The World's Come Over You in February 1960. Jack still sings around the Detroit Metro Area and the rest of the Country Jack and his wife make there home in Sterling Heights, Michigan and they have a daughter Karen who has toured with her dad from time to time.
