It depends on what both parties want. I've been with my husband for 28 years but we've only been married for 11 years. He asked to marry me 3 years in I said yes. But to be honest because I was not really a me you and government connected by a contract type of gal I was never pressed. People out here are marrying and divorcing like they change pairs of shoes. It's deeper than just getting someone to marry you.
