Women and Bladder Cancer - The journey of Amy

This year's theme for International Women’s Day (IWD) this year is #EmbraceEquity. This is an opportunity for us to stand and advocate to embrace equity for women affected by bladder cancer around the world.
Embracing equity means that women know the symptoms of cancer, doctors trust women when they say something is wrong, women have access to timely and accurate diagnosis, and women can access effective treatment options and clinical trials close to them.
Hear from Amy (Senegal) diagnosed in 2022 at the age of 50 sharing her story, her hopes for change, and her advice for other women facing bladder cancer.
Raising awareness and moving the conversation forward to address the bias women face will allow female bladder cancer patients to receive better care and create a positive change for all!
