I'm on the respirator since the end of 2017, and I had three girlfriends in 5 years. It didn't work out, I was too much for them. I can't go out, I'm living in bed basically, and I have muscle disease. I still manage to live a fulfilling life. I meet girls online and you wouldn't believe how many girls are attracted to me. Online, in person, it doesn't matter. I write a motivational blog and fight prejudices against disabled people, also I write about my daily life, my healthy eating habits, my healthy life mindset etc. I do freelance graphic design, I read a lot, and I write three books. I have goals, the mission, to use my condition to help and motivate people. Girls love guys who have goals, the confidence to be brutally honest with them, guys who have strong opinions, and guys who truly live their life no matter what. Plus, I'm a creative writer, which helps to make girls curious and excited, even in a sexual way, because girls love words. I always tell them everything without hesitation, sometimes they are shocked by my honesty, but they love it. At the beginning of our chat, I never try to impress them or give them compliments about their look. I tease them a lot in a flirty or sexual way, but never too much, just enough to keep thing fun and relaxed. We also talk about deep, emotional subjects. I'm not hiding any emotion. So, if I can have girls and I can't leave the house, and I'm severely disabled - you can too. Just be confident in who you are, have purpose, be honest, have strong opinions, never change your opinions just to be liked by a girl. Respect her, joke with her, make her laugh, be understanding. It's really that easy. Don't be pushy about things, but don't use much words like: ''do you want'', ''can I'', ''I'm sorry'' for every little thing. For example, I never ask: ''Do you want to have a date with me?'' , I ask: ''I want to have a date with you, get to know you better, we should have a date on Saturday night, are you busy then?'' See the difference, I'm telling her, not asking.

GREAT advice her men. Very well presented. The common theme with these ideas is that men must be it all and do it all. No room for error, let down, or weakness. Make sure the woman is worth all this effort and expenditure of resources. Also remember she will expect this same effort for the entirety of the relationship. Every woman wants a good man until, that man requires her to be a better woman.

I needed to see this video today, particularly the segment beginning at 12:32. I'm past several weeks with a woman, have had 6 wonderful dates, but I've noticed lately she's not initiated contact as much as she did the first few weeks after we met. She's ceased the occasional good night/good morning texts, or spur of the moment phone calls. I've developed strong feelings for this woman. She is responsive and excited to spend time together, but this change in communication from her has me shaken. Perhaps using this tip during our next date will be help ease the anxiousness I feel. Just don't want to come off needy, which the way you worded it, it does not. Thanks for the great content, Apollonia!

Hi Sean, if it's a new behavior just proceed with caution and be aware of it. But 6 dates we can like someone but still not 100% know who they are and what they want. Take your time. -Apollonia

In light of this advice: how do you approach subjects like MGTOW? From what I hear in that movement, men are determining what their non-negotiable are, and in an era where so much more is demanded of men to even have the attention of a woman, a lot of men have decided that their effort in life is better directed elsewhere. Yet in choosing to not play the dating game because of ridiculously high one-sided standards, men are often ridiculed and demeaned for not making a woman their focus. I’ve come to the point in my own life where I realized that my goal can’t be to be what women want, because largely most women don’t even know what they want. I choose to put my energy into my relationship with God, close friendships and family, and into exploring interests that I have. In that freedom though, the constant question from women to me is “why aren’t you married yet?” Or “you are total husband material,” yet whenever I give one a chance, they aren’t interested, because they usually mean I’m all that “for someone else.” Ideally I would like a family and kids, and a solid relationship with a SO, but I refuse to meet the needs of someone who either doesn’t know what they want, or won’t pursue someone they even acknowledge has the traits that any woman looking for a stable relationship would want (because that usually means they are still looking for the excitement of an unstable relationship).

Phrases such as "high value" really take the shine off your wisdom. You say a lot of good things and I'm really keen to know more about what you have to say, however, that one phrase really doesn't work whe describing a prospective partner. It really shapes a group of prerequisites in which we should judge a person. If I ever meet a female I personally decide I want (not NEED) in my life, she will always be of value regardless if shes all together or not and I'm sure she will feel the same. Stay wise, stop using throw away, hip terms like "high value".
@PaigeSquared Жыл бұрын
Thank you!! I really dislike that term, it comes across as prejudiced. Like it's dismissive of a person's inherent value, to say that some are "high value" means that others aren't, and comes across as shallow and hateful. Compatibility is the most important, and that is something that is individualized, it can't be generalized; "high value" is assumed to be an adequate measurement. The type of men who repeatedly say "high value" are the ones that women think are "low value," for not having a proper sense of humility nor humanity. I typically assume that a man who uses that term also buys into other negative societal constructs.

Depends on the woman! I LOVE pet names, but not when the person clearly thinks of me as "lesser" than them. Make sure it isn't demeaning. My ex husband had a pet name for me that I loathed, I associated it with being overweight, and he associated it with something totally different. My favorites are baby, sweet pea, sweetheart. Least favorites- doll, sweet cheeks, princess. (Princess was used in sarcasm in my family of origin, that one can be very hit or miss.) A pet name makes me feel like I'm "his," and helps me know he is still feeling loving towards me. My ex husband started using my first name, which became an indicator that he wasn't fond of me anymore. I've had boyfriends who were too afraid to try and never had pet names for me. It's not something you can really ask for.

convince means you were already turned down. I'm gonna have to say you didn't look very promising to her parents (and maybe to her too), perhaps you're lazy. Perhaps you don't look like you're really trying your utmost in life. I really think if you're living a respectable life, anyone can look at you and accept you. You don't convince them, you show them. And in the process you may even find a better woman. So don't stop to convince her or her parents

this may be accurate but what I see out there from all different demographics, is genetics. facial attractiveness followed by height and status/resources. sure one can't have an off-putting personality, hygiene, impoverished etc... but all of these things pale in comparison to the primary components of attraction. is this defeatist? no...there can be a fit for many men and women, but the upper tier of men (and women) get BY FAR the majority of options. it's not a linear curve.

Why would a woman make an effort for a man? She is financially independent, has a comfortable home, a dog and a cat for love and she sees her family and mommy and daddy every week. When she suffers from hormones, she avoids it by running in the park and by joga.

That jacket thing I never understood. Why not bring a jacket. We've known for thousands of years that nights are cold. The man brings a jacket. Why the woman can't bring one? It's well known women feel cold much quicker than men. Why not plan accordingly? To me that would be a turn off. Shows poor prioritisation and planning. Not wife material.

She teaching what she like. "She" likes. Not what women or even shes attracted too. First lie. Women do like guys who show emotion to issues. She said they dont. 1 of our biggest tricks is to act sad until a girl asks whats wrong. Tell her your girlfriend cheated on u and it bothers u sometimes because how good u became u her. Even tho u never had a girlfriend. Every woman will instantly become nurtering. Nurtering equates emotion. Feelings. Now shes thinkn of her past issues. While holding u. Rubbing u. Hold for 10 mins and youll have her doggy. This is importnt. Make sure youre aggressive. And she will be hooked. Subconsciously youll be the guy who she thinks of when she thinks of cheatn men she knew and how youre better. And the aggressive sex makes her want it more. Trust me. i am the guy.
