Such a powerful message!! I'm a 39yr old woman & it honestly took me all my life to learn this valuable lesson. Coming to Christ & surrendering all that built up hurt, rejection, abuse, self hate, no self worth, all the lies the enemy told me to convince me that my identity was in a man or what my body had to offer, all the deep wounds year after year that brought guilt & shame. When we come before God's face in the hidden, in our intimate prayer closet before the Father, in that broken vulnerable place there's such healing in such a supernatural way. It's almost like the sinful woman who washed Jesus feet with her tears, because u feel this deep sorrow that groans within the soul longing to be free, but also to be forgiven & accepted. God is the only one who can love us in the way we truly desire, until we understand that our value comes from him, that he see's us as precious, worthy, & calls us his beloved, we can't see past our faults until we loose the stronghold of the many lies we've believed.

My soul is in agony, but satan has not defeated me, nor has he weakened my faith in Jesus Christ. There are those that say that *sex* is a _gift_ from God between the married man and the woman; I was under the impression that childbirth was the actual miracle being referenced. If God were to ask me, _"Out of all the emotions you have discovered in this life, which is the worst?"_ I would say, _that attraction between a male and a female that my eyes see, and those feelings I feel within, because as hard as I've tried, they are never satisfied!_ And from the depths of my heart, at times, I wonder, how many Christians would remain "Christians", if they didn't have their wives laying next to them at night. I hear so many sermon's and messages being preached, but where is the passion in their voices, found in the agony of the life long struggles against the onslaught of sexual immoralities that will not be defeated, but through endurance, and finishing the race God has set before us. At the early age of 7 in a foster home, I was taught that women are sex objects, was caught in self-gratification in kindergarten by my teacher, and from that age, into my late mid-40's, all I can see when I see a female, are body parts. There are those amongst the Christian community that call me "unsaved", because they say there is no depravity within a Christian's life, and what do I say to that? Based on my own reactions, and those of others, I would say that Christians can be more so judgmental than those who have never heard the Word of God. Let me tell you the cost of following Jesus Christ... is that I can not do the things I want to do, and I can not look at the things my flesh is craving to look at; I've never been on a date in my life, and I've never had a girlfriend, and because of the sins in my life, which are great, perhaps it is God's judgment that I complete this life as alone as I began. I can not look at a child, or even a woman without seeing flesh associated with sexuality. And that's a hard pill for even Christians to swallow, that one sin is never that far behind another... You look at porn, pretty soon, it's perfectly fine to see other men in the video's, then it becomes fine if women don't even show up to the video's... No need to elaborate, then gay marriage seems fine and dandy, because in today's age you can't be a proper religious person, unless you accept the sins of others. But I never was the "religious" type. I do not do what I want because I'm afraid of God, because I know He is real, and I advice you, never to say in your heart as a child, I will sin now, and pay for it later, for God can punish you in this life, all the same as in the next, ...and it's been over a year, perhaps longer, perhaps much longer, I haven't been keeping tabs since I've given into my flesh, for which I consider that God's victory within my life. Sure the temptations continue to pour in every second of the day, even in my sleep, but I've learned to call upon the Name of Jesus Christ in those times of weaknesses. The Bible says, _the wicked can not sleep at night until they have sinned; They lose sleep at night until they've caused others to stumble, and they stumble therein the darkness not knowing what it is that causes them to stumble._ How true that is, in our day and age, where even I have felt this urge to share my wickedness, with others, but who among them want me to share the Name of Jesus Christ... who among them would recognize slavery that is to come, if they can't even recognize how enslaved they are to the flesh; that when the eyes say, "Look! A beautiful woman! JUMP!!!!", we jump, and we keep jumping, not recognizing that we have become slaves in need of salvation. For God has not freed us from eternal damnation, but our slavery to sin of which the wages are death. I'm sharing this testimony with you, because it is the agony of my spirit to have to live with my flesh until the day I die, and my flesh wearies as much of the soul, as my soul is wearied over the flesh. On the topic of self-gratification, I think it's important that we listen to what the Holy Spirit says, rather than the comforting thoughts of approval, from the excuses we sometimes give ourselves, that we do not have to resist the greastest stumbling blocks in our lives. Is self-gratification a sin? That depends on Whom Jesus Christ is to YOU! In all of my vast experiences on the subject matter I've never thought of fluffy white clouds, and cute birds flying in the air... all of my thoughts were of a sinful nature. The lust of the eyes go hand in hand with the lust of the flesh... I'll tell you this... God punished me a year or so back, for backsliding, and looking at porn...and because He knew I was a hermit, living a secluded life in my apartment, with hardly any friends, unless your counting the ones on 4 to 8 legs. I managed to get scabies, which is a nocturnal bug, the Hebrews call Garrab, or Garab", not sure of the spelling, but it was one of the afflictions Job had. My entire life suddenly changed because of this... searched the internet far and wide for solutions, tea tree oil, Israeli miracle sea salt, Epson salt, neem oil, and countless people looking for monetary gain at the expense of the suffering of others. Finally, a friend bought me some *Nixx Complete LIce Removal Kit* because the same thing that kills lice, also kills scabies, but there are no over the counter cures for scabies. The solution is the body rinse cream that contains a cancer causing agent known as Permethrin, and is used in a number of ways to control insects. I had to lather the entire thing on my body, and wait 10 minutes, and then rinse it off. A week later, I had to do it one more time, all the while, cleaning my bed sheets, buying a special vacuum cleaner capable of picking up micro-particles, and constantly cleaning the clothes I wear. They eventually died off. I was in such agony at one point, I just wanted to die... I was sitting in the tub trying to bribe this bug, "If you leave me alone, I will buy you a pizza"... You've got to give glory to a God who can create such a perfect bug that can not be bribed, or bargained with. If only we could be as obedient to God, as His creatures are in fulfilling their purpose in life, that being, to make my life miserable. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil... and it's easy to resist those evils you hate, but it's not so easy when it deals with the sins we have not yet learned to hate. The woman is a constant temptation to me, no matter where I find her, in the store, or on the internet the world is always trying to shove temptations in my mind, and God has now given me the ability to know when I'm under attack in my sleep, and I wake up, such as last night, and I say, "God, the devil is tempting me!" God wants us to call on His Name when we are in trouble. I could continue, because there is much to say on this topic, but I wonder how many will even make it to the end of this sentence. I know sin because sin first knew me, and my flesh did not know God, nor does it comprehend the things of the spirit, nor has it any inheritance within God's kingdom. So my flesh can not be boastful of spiritual matters it knows nothing of. I've got enough sins in my own life, to worry about the specks in the lives of others; But I grow weary of the interpretations of God's Words, where preaching has become, "7 things Christians should not do!", when it's taken up the near entirety of my life just to deal with my own sins! Perhaps in my struggles, someone else may learn how to deal with their own struggles. Church used to be a house of prayer, and fellowship, now it's a house of preaching interpretations, where hardly ever do we rely on the Living Word of God to do His Work within the congregation. I don't go to Church, I don't drive, because I'm somewhat legally blind, and trust me, carrots don't do nothing to improve eyesight, unless your a rabbit. I believe that whereso ever Christ is within our hearts, that is where the True Body of Christ is. But there are churches that want to preach that it's mandatory to go to church. I'm not a religious person, and the world "religion" just causes my brain to click off, and I refuse to categorize Jesus Christ under the term "religion" Jesus didn't come here to establish a relation between people and a building, but Himself within our hearts, and I say, that not everyone who goes to church will see the Kingdom of Heaven, and not everyone who stays home, will see eternal damnation.

Really liked it when it was addressed that a worldly sexual past doesn’t define a person or contribute to their worth or value! Would like to see it eventually addressed that a lack of one is the same in God’s sight as well! I’m still single in my thirties because I’ve worked with God at keeping my commitment to wait. I’ve had various times of receiving flack for it, even to the extent of people (both Christian and not) saying I don’t have a real relationship with God or am “setting women back from modern day achievements and equality.” Among other things.
