He basically confirmed everything she said! He's trying to tell her that she doesn't understand how relationships work and that her relationship is going to fall apart/she is not appealing to any men and that all of her views on the topic are "bullshit". Basically pressuring women who agree with her into putting out. He also undermined her husband's masculinity and said she must not be attracted to him, even though she MARRIED him and he has never mentioned women being attracted to him/sleeping with him. Literal SCARE TACTICS, MANIPULATION, AND CONTRACDICTION! Literally all the red flags she said to look for before you emotionally commit to a relationship!

Honestly the 30-60 days sex thing is v great advice for women. Of course man who only wants sex wouldn't want to hear it (the incel advice guy). Most men who only want sex give up easily if you make them wait or they become obvious that sex is the only thing they want cause they'll complain about it a lot. My husband and I waited, I wanted to know his personality beforehand. It doesnt mean Im frigid and dont enjoy sex, I just dont want to spend my time w someone who has a crap personality.

Fun fact from a woman in STEM, most of us are leaving STEM fields because of the misogyny and gross treatment we get. I didn't go to school for over 4 years just to deny my "instincts", I do it because I want to help save lives and my work does that. Must suck to be that fragile like he is

He literally said with his full chest that men can’t control their urges, don’t have impulse control, don’t have patience and the only real reason men and women congregate is sex. What he was talking about early in the video when he said 'don't do nice things all the time for women because then they'll expect it' is an abuse tactic called breadcrumbing. It's when you're mean or ignore your partner most of the time, and when you think they've finally had enough, you compliment them, or start being nice to them so they'll stay. It's called that because the partner is essentially love-starved and 'living off breadcrumbs'

As a gay man I'm incredibly attracted to misogynists. Not for their personalities, but because I have a huge fetish for humiliating and dominating weak men. The idea of treating one of these guys the way they treat women is my ultimate fantasy, and they obviously are also gay from how much they seem to hate women. I feel like he would work out his deep seated issues with women if me, my boyfriend, and five of our buffest, most hairy friends ran a train on him. You know, to understand the female perspective.

one of the most frustrating things about this “alpha” male idea is that they look at women as a general collective like we’re some prey that they’ve studied or some shit. I'm going to be honest with you here (and I really am not meaning to mansplain to you here if you are already aware of what I'm about to say) as the son of a serial narcissist - I don't think they can be helped. I think a guy like this would go to therapy only so far as it gets people off his back to go to therapy. They are usually so good at faking emotions, etc, that I could even see this creep going along with therapy for awhile just to fool those around him into thinking he's becoming a better person. Narcissism, which this guy is 100%, represents a 'special' kind of mental issue, bc all you can really do is try and steer them towards the path of least destruction to those around them, and bc there is no 'cure' for it that is an especially hard task, especially when they are smart enough (like this dude is) to understand they can do absolutely horrible things like make videos like he did and still be well within his rights as protected by free speech, etc. Narcissists present truly nightmarish situations bc, technically speaking, they aren't inherently dangerous, but at the same time that fact has the ability to change given their particular life circumstances, stress levels, etc.

@@drew9141 unless you are a licensed therapist, rn or psych and with the patient one on one, its not really fair to diagnose people. I absolutely agree with the point that if these men have narcissism, that therapy cannot help them, just as therapy cannot help those with anti social personality disorder(or what ppl call sociopath/psychopath they are the same in the dsm-5). I grew up with parents that have narcissistic tendencies but aren't narcissists(but still very stupid people) due to the fact that they display the ability to change when new information that they trust is shown. We typically wanna diagnose people we dislike with these mental issues because we see the diagnosis as bad and cementing our right to vehemently dislike the person. However, I think we should be more careful. Personally, I like to join in and poke fun at these people, as I think they are pretty silly. Sometimes I get riled up and feel steam comin outta my ears.

Go to those women who want relations and ask them, am I missing something? Seriously they need to stop comparing us to objects and wildlife stuff. Ask women! We're humans with brains and our own unique ideas. We have things that we want. If you wanna hang out with a girl, ask her out, ask her what she likes to eat or whatever. Women aren't a monolith either, we like different things. Relationship expectations are different so it will depends and the woman you're talking to. I'm not in advanced STEM, but I'm an HVAC service technician, and I had another technician tell me to my face, "you're so lucky you were a girl in your program. I wish I had that privilege to get the better treatment." Like, my man... I was the ONE OF TWO WOMEN in a class of FIFTY. It was TERRIBLE lol. It was two years of school, and I didn't make a single friend besides the other girl because: 1) They were very visibly uncomfortable to be partnered with me in class, no matter how friendly I was, and 2) the three guys who were nice to me were called simps by the 45 other men in class. It was embarrassing for me honestly. I had one truly great teacher who genuinely could not care less I was a woman, and three other teachers who were all harder on me and the other girl because they thought the OTHER teachers were being too easy on us because we were girls... so we just had 3 teachers assigning us extra projects and homework lol. I don't know where the idea of, "if you're the first of your kind in your program, you must get special treatment! I wish I had that!" came from. I have had ZERO upsides come from being a woman in this trade besides elderly women feeling safer with me than with the loud, burly dudes I work with and I can sometimes fit into spaces some of the bulky guys can't lol. Sometimes I really wish I had gone into a different field. I love the work itself, but the social climate in the entire industry is terrible to be apart of as a woman.

I know its so funny to me, we are all human beings who all share 99.9% of the same DNA, yet some men talk about women like they are a whole different species of animal, or even worse they just reduce women to objects. They use phrases like "you whamen", "your kind", "females", etc to try to distance themselves from women so that they can say incredibly s e x i s t and disgusting things about women and not feel bad or guilty about it since they don't see women as fellow humans deserving of the same rights.

It’s interesting actually, I need to find the study again but there was one done that guys like this genuinely don’t see women as human. They look at a woman the same way we look at something like a lamp. I’ll re-Edit this once I find the study. “neuroimaging results revealed that men with hostile sexist attitudes towards women showed decreased activation of those brain areas that are typically associated with mind attribution processes when looking at objectified women compared to other social targets. Other research has suggested that objectified female targets are elaborated using cognitive processes that are typically used in our interactions with objects” from Assessing neural responses towards objectified human targets and objects to identify processes of sexual objectification that go beyond the metaphor by Jeroen Vaes

Interesting analogy. "you wouldn't ask a fish how to catch a fish". Yes, because the fish might tell you that it does not like getting caught, but it would give you valuable advice nonetheless, because a fish knows best how it works and what it needs. "You would ask the fisherman" because he helps you achieve your own goal, without care what your 'object of desire' actually wants or needs.

its rly interesting because as a queer woman ive never once seen another wlw talk about women this way when like. a wlw and a straight man essentially have the "same goal" in this regard right? to date women? but it's always dudes spinning these fairytales about what women are like/what they want when they've probably never sat down and talked to a woman before....its just v fascinating to me

I think this fundamentally comes down to cultural norms going back hundreds of years in which women have been viewed as inherently inferior. This still persists in some parts of the world, where women are treated like literal property rather than autonomous human beings, but even in the West some of these views remain. Particularly among heterosexual men, where some of them still view women as literally being lesser human beings. Good only as maids, nannies, and walking fleshlights. Hence all the analogies where women are talked about like animals ("female instincts") or robots ("programmed") rather than PEOPLE. Interestingly, as you say, I've never seen sapphics talk about women this way, and I've never seen gay men talk about other men this way. It's just straight men looking down on women. This is also why I don't trust men who can't be friends with women without any ulterior motives, because it shows how they see women as fundamentally different from men in a way where we're not PEOPLE whose company they may genuinely enjoy, we're either romantic/sexual objects or not worth their time.

@@fyo9918 I completely understand your concern but I don't think there is any such implication, of course women can also be predatory but they don't tend to exhibit this particular brand of misogyny that you see from these kinds of men. These kinds of men view women as being fundamentally different creatures from themselves and don't talk about them like actual human beings. Women can absolutely be predatory too, but I think since they themselves are women they aren't going to see women the way these men do.

As someone on dating apps, I have seen older lesbians talk his way, but it all comes from internalized misogyny. I made a joke about how awful men are making me a lesbian and an older lesbian told me "If they can make you gay they can change you back."
