More to the point, they need a voiceover. The commentary cutting with the video means audio often makes no sense and you miss large amounts of context.

Lill's pit crash was from a pedal strike. Slowing down the video, you can clearly see the pedal take a chunk of ground out, like a golf club. Lesson of the day, boys and girls, don't pedal in the apex of a turn.

For highlights, it would be good to show the top 10 or 20 standings at the end of each lap, particularly if you're not going to show any of the battles other than for the top 3.

@@nahadoth2087 I think @dustybikes86 already paid for MAX and was asking why the UCI has a different service/fee for the championships. I'm in the same situation and would ask the same question. Also, while a 5 minute recap is better than 90 seconds, I wish the UCI would make whole race replays available.

it seems smart to put all the world cups on one platform (Max) and then put the world championships on a totally different much more expensive platform (flobikes) it really shows that the UCI cares about the viewers.

World Championship. "Olympic" is the length of the race, a bit over an hour. The other distances are "short track", which is about 20 minutes, and "marathon", which is at least 100 km.

Because the discipline is XCO Cross Country Olympic, there is Short track too.
