This is really shocking. I hail from Kerr Serign but I can attest to this cuz my mom would be part of the women that were evicted from the Senegambia garden which is just behind the Mansea Beach Hotel. Sadly, a few years back after a regime change, they(the so-called rich men) came and evicted all of them while their crops were grown. All that they are saying is the fact. The government needs to do something about this. Most women stop working today because there are no land. This affects Kololi, Kerr Serign, Bijilo, and Sanchaba.

I empathize with these peasants of kololi, unchecked development will always bring environmental and social consequences. Gambia today greed is taken hold, no one cares. Very sad to watch this.

gambia is country without a policy and sadly our country leadership has no conscience as theyre to serve us and our interest not we to serve them ,they can address the plight of these women by giving them a smart resolution its easy if they care about the poor farmers 1 the urban farming method very successful system u can hire an experts and other stake holders and listen to the them first my friend let truth be said to the authorities
