It just... you know, it just makes me so sad to see women have to cover themselves up. If it's something they want to do, that's one thing, but being forced to by the male-oriented government of Saudi Arabia? It's just depressing. The world wants to see how beautiful they are, wants to see them grow and flourish as independent women, not sit back and have their worth be judged through their man! More needs to be done about this.

It is extremely important for all women in the world particularly in Saudi Arabia to be treated as equal and equality. Furthermore; there is development araising within the walls of Council decisions, policy planning and management to allow women to drive (as seen on other KZbin videos). Women should allow the freedom to marry who they fall in love with and not by arranged marriages or by greed and money. I certainly would not like to marry a man who I did not love or do not know obviously this creates problems. Love is a gift where two people are not forced but to develop their relationship in peace and harmony.

I am from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the video has nothing to do with reality. It is true that this is our dress, but our lives are filled with happiness and comfort. Being a woman does not prevent me from working, striving and studying at all. But what separates me from the rest of the women in the world is that my family does not abandon me in times of difficulties. My father is required to provide me with housing and a healthy life. If I provide it myself with my money, I don’t mind, but the father cannot abandon his daughter, as the regime requires him to provide her with a house, a car, etc... But as usual, the American and British media always insult Islam and other Muslims. Look in the right way for Islam, and you will know what it is honestly.

I am very disappointed of the report. I have been invited to participate in order to correct the wrong image that the world has about Saudi Women. I wasn't told who were the other ladies. My interview was more than one hour and the picked one single minute. If I knew that the program will be that bad , I would never agree to participate. It is not professional or ethical not to tell me the real aims . The report is very biased and depicts Saudi Arabia as a prison for women .. The producers failed to differentiate between the social rights of women and the laws/obligations governing the lives of both men and women in the Islamic Sharia .. Abir AbuSulayman

Abir AbuSulayman it is a prison for women, I can't say for how many because they fear to Speak up. My friend is 25, is an honour student and now works in a bank. This is her only freedom she has, her father will not let her have further education in the uk are travel any where for holiday. He has no reason other than he is scared of the Shame of what his family may think. She is in love with some one from different country and can't be with them at all. Her parents don't support her financially are emotionally. Her mother told her to her face hope she dies of cancer are car crash!! Her father has no connection with her, no conversations, no love are respect. Her brothers get to travel, drive expensive cars and go where ever they want when they want. She is trapped no escape, no life, she can't breath any more. This report is the truth I have seen it first hand and saw the damage it is doing to her. Hope one day the law change for her to get out of that country and never go back. Am sorry but saudi is hell on earth.
