Women in the sport is nothing but positive. I have never looked down or different at female riders. We're all very lucky to be immersed in such a great sport in this time.

A truly inspiring film! These women show other women that there are so many possibilities and that there is nothing to be afraid of. Yes, it's a pretty rough sport, but hey... I would be very glad to see more women on the trails at my hometown. I somehow dragged my girlfriend to this sport, and she has much joy in riding her bike + learning new things. Also, every time she progresses more than me - I feel so proud of her :)

Absolutely love all the mini documentaries that y'all have done and this one is no exception. It's unfortunate that some of these women had the experiences they had, but their love for the sport and the passion they have to succeed definitely wasn't dulled at all. Keep kicking ass ladies!

It's so interesting that this story (and so many others) focus on women inspiring other women. My suggestion is to not stop there -- women can and do inspire men, too. As a man, I can point to several women in my cycling journey who have been my mentors and have helped me to grow. In return I have mentored many men and women. This story also should be told. Women limiting their stories to helping other women is just another glass ceiling that needs to be broken.

I agree with this too! If I could go back and change the wording I would. I hope it inspires everyone- no matter what gender :)

Everything functions properly kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of KZbin. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!

Would have been nice if you included all these women’s KZbin links or social media links. You make a video about them, why would you not promote them, it’s hard enough trying to find women in this sport online as it is.

Same for everyone, it’s not isolated to women. But you will find it harder now that businesses are trying to be 50/50 gender diverse, rather than just hiring the best person for the job.

So basically there's no place for an introvert in this industry. Gotta be an internet star, race results aren't enough anymore lol. What is inherently wrong with men? Nobody is stopping you from doing what you want in life.

So if a group of men made the same kind of video nobody would even watch it. They would call it sexist.
@jonoin35mm982 жыл бұрын
I mean, the video is based on a minority, statistically, the Mountain Bike industry has a larger % of men than women. You could do the same type of video for men in the Nursing sector, and how they have to battle the stigma or men as Childcare Educators etc. Not sure why you're getting all pissy at a video aimed at encouraging woman to get into the industry lol.
