I think they are doing this for tiktok, facebook, etc., aka money/attention for the most part. I have seen older women living in their cars and these are actually sad. Fixed income seniors are suffering hard in this economy.

Agree, there are a lot that are faking it for the easy monetization money, when in reality, they’re actually going back to their home at night. One way you can tell who’s faking it and who’s not, is to pay attention to how many videos they film during the day vs at night.

tbh. they have suffered under every economy. That's why the saying is 'But I live on fixed income'. My Dad retired in 1980 with 2 small pensions and SS and said he was making more than he ever did working but then he lived for 20 more yrs. and was pretty poor by then.

I have no idea why these young Ladies are living this way, but whenever I try to consider their choice I am reminded of a time about 10 yrs ago when I took a 6 month road trip, for fun. Even though I booked hotels here and there, I camped for the most part in my car or my tent. I was SO relieved to get home after that 6 months. Folks need a safe home to hang their hats.

The only guys that are truly friends with women are gay. Some of my best gay guy friends, were those I met in restaurant jobs and Disney hospitality jobs. Why's it working? Because anyone can lose their job and/ or their home and it's ridiculously expensive to get a new apartment if you lose what you have. So we watch it to learn what to do if we lose everything. It's important to keep your vehicle.

When you do a men of mobile life, I watch this guy mike he goes by living free. He lives in a RV and he surrounds his rv with ankle height solar panels for his 5 solar systems. He started in a van? I think it was his choice to do vanlife!

I haven't been in a relationship for over 20 years. What I don't like about women is that they try to take control of the relationship. They try to take control of their boyfriend. I've tried lots of relations within this period of 20 years. All I get are control freak women. Because they're insecure, they don't want their boyfriend to go out with his friends, and if he does, she gets into a fit because you disobeyed. I tell these women, " I don't need you to be my mother and try to control me. I'm not five years old. That is very disrespectful. " It's in the women's nature to try to control the men.

I think it's the economy for many of them. Older people are retiring with no savings and all they have is social security. Rent is unaffordable. For them living in a vehicle is a last resort.

11:18 ... I highly doubt it, it's totally possible but odds are, she has a place to stay most any time she wants and then when she wants to "recharge" herself all BY herself, she then lives in her car for a couple of days. THIS is how she probably can say that she lives in her car without lying.

Trust me I would choose living in my car Living day to day, if I couldn't do it any other way. Pretty girls have the advantage of being sexy. But the struggle is real. It goes for both sexes. There's a whole other road though we can go down, as a man you could be ugly as hell and unhealthy, and still get a girlfriend as long as you have a lot of money. Probably won’t get a DUI charge but you could get an “open container” charge. Also gives grounds for a vehicle search to determine if there is anything else that might not meet the rule of law…drugs, etc.

Man lol..smdh, I put a really long comment explaining my situation but decided to delete it. Simply put, I am trying to do van life due to my love for photography and travel and yes, due to my financial situation. Most women leave relationships because of men cheating...but no one wants to talk about that...or abuse, emotional or physical. And yea, any man that tells a woman he just "wants to be friends" either only wants to get rid of you because he's not sexually interested or just wants sex without commitment. Wish I had known these types of guys exist, my mom never told me about these types and I had to learn a couple of harsh and heartbreaking situations where I believed they actually cared...LMAO! yea right...never gave a shit as soon as I stopped any physical stuff...so now I am just saving myself for my husband...but I doubt I will ever meet anyone, I'm not a beauty queen and most men won't wait for marriage...I refuse to be used ever again! From my understand a lot of these women living in vehicles are simply vloggers and influencers my experience is there is no reason why a woman needs to live in this type of environments unless they've left a abusive relationship and have no other place to turn. Women have been bar hopping for generations find their next place to Stay for a place of stability. Because there's a lot of weak men out there that are willing to make that trade-off. Where would make sense for more man to be living in in Vehicles due to the fact of the ridiculous prices Of live ability and rent. Because unfortunately men don't have the same luxuries as women. When it comes to room and board. Living in a vehicle could be a great financial decision. Than waiting to hear which end where you could probably end up sleeping on the street because you didn't plan on using all your resources to sustain your living.
