I agree with her about the loss of community feeling these days at the beginning of the video. I remember during my childhood we used to share almost everything with neighbors. But now people are more aloft and rarely gather or share like as they used to in the past.

So true.... You get everything if you wish but not your parents . These days in our community , mostly sons are neglecting our parents over wife. If you’ve daughter and son . Please invest in daughter.. They will take care of you in the end of your life far better than sons.

yes, we are all tibetan. kongpo is in tibet, so obviously shes tibetan. i dont understand why people say dont say utsang khampa amdo. yea people fighting over where you're from is ridiculous but there is nothing wrong with preserving your own regional tibetan dialect, traditions and clothing. if we just say we're tibetan tibetan and only speak central tibetan dialect, our culture and identity will be very diluted and we will lose all our regional songs and traditions- which we already are. if she didnt write down those traditional kongpo songs we would've lost them. saying you're from a certain part of tibet isnt the problem, fighting over it is. and shes just trying to preserve her mother's hometown's songs, thats it. i dont see what the problem is here.
