That makes me happy to hear and I don't even know you. I'm 63 and I used to love my makeup when a teenager. I had 4 children and at some point, I went by the wayside. Years actually decades later, I had the sweetest neighbor and every day she was put together. Depending on what she was doing,-gardening or going out. Hair, makeup, jewelry. Her face looked so smooth and she is 12 years older than me. So I just started getting back into swing of things. I'm glad I found Nikol, because I was buying-but did I need it? I am figuring that out. I was offered a modeling job when young and mistaken for Oliva Newton-John. Those days had past. But, I have found that with every product I try, I am taking care of me. I was just complimented on my makeup today and the sweet young woman was probably 21 and she herself was stunning with barely any makeup on. This has NEVER happened to me. Nikol, many of us “older” women are on a fixed income or SS. I have bought so many beauty products and make up that was popular, high end or touted as the best only to go in the trash. It would be fantastic for you to offer a smaller, affordable starter kit for us to try before jumping in with both feet. BTW I’m 63 and very confused about lip sheens ie Matte, Cream, Gloss etc….what’s best for us?

I am on a fixed income also and Nikola does a fabulous job of comparing luxury and drugstore brands. So I now have the WetNWild foundation and the L'Oreal foundations she compared favorably with Dior and another high-end brand. I don't know which one I like the best. ELF has some GREAT products and they are really cheap. The primers, eyeliners, powders, etc. are very comparable to high-end products. The concealers are really good, but a little heavy for the under eye. The CC cream is really good if you want a full coverage foundation. I am buying Nikol's primer for the eyelids at the beginning of the month!

So love Nikol's eye tutorials because it is doable, uncomplicated, can be work, errands and glam with a few simple tweaks. She is a natural beauty and at my age using liquid liner wings, 4 layers of foundation, bronzers, highlighters, blushes, powders OMSTARS is not possible on 65+ year old skin. Sometimes those MU artists take their make up off and wow they look totally different so I've begun to refer to the "influencers" look as fake up. Love Nikol's attitudes and grace.

I have hereditary dark circles. I use Mac Prep and Prime in Bright forecast and it works fine, but since my shin is so light, the darkness still shows to some degree. I just ordered your 3 pack of color correctors because I wasn't sure if i needed the darker orange or not. It will arrive tomorrow afternoon so I guess I'll see on Tuesday. We have so many symptoms that could be from so many things and it’s actually goes undiagnosed because it’s so hard to pin point and each woman experiences different symptoms. We have to be our own advocate. I told my husband, look, I’m not taking a medication with dangerous side effects just so I can be in a better mood for you or anyone else. You just have to know this is what I’m going through right now .

I am 67 and adore your videos - learned so much even though I THOUGHT I was a makeup "expert" before this. I've had an interest in makeup since my preteens but only since aging have gotten into skincare. (I know, I know) Currently I've been trying all types of skin care products for sensitive/dry, dull skin to address the changes happening. I have two problems I'm experiencing. Pilling being one. No matter NOT mixing serum and water based products as moisturizers and or hydrating in the layers, I'm still getting pilling. I do gentle exfoliating and am working on a spotless skin. Even my Cerave moisturizer I currently use at night has started pilling in the mornings when I gently rub my face. I also think that pilling is not getting into my skin and HATE it. Second is even though I take supplements, my skin, from using high end products to drugstore, NEVER is looking glowy like I want. Any suggestions - from anyone - would so be appreciated!

I too am looking for “glow!” Less steps to get there would be helpful for me as I have neuropathy in my hands! (Don’t get me started on buttoning classic oxford shirts, to then pull them over my head!😂)

The pilling *MIGHT* be due to heavy moisturizer that is not compatible with whatever else you are putting on your face. Or maybe too fast with the retinol? Some sunscreens, some Vit C and other serums often don't mix nicely with others, but you might have to experiment to find out what it is. Start with a clean face, use only one product at a time - even try different products on each side of the face! - and check back after several hours for wear. Take notes on what works with what, and build from there. (Consider it 'play' lol!) As for the second issue of 'glow' drink LOTS of water and consider "complete'' collagen supplements, hyaluronic acid supplements too (I take both, get them from the "A" place). Paula's Choice 2% BHA salicylic acid is mild, moisturizing and really peps up the skin (leave on overnight and splash off in the morning). I'm about your age and have seen a real change in texture and brightness - keeping my fingers x'd for you!

A couple of months ago I had the exact same issues. Then I remembered Nikol’s video on Nivea Crème. Bought that. And started working with a nutritionist. My macros were off. Each meal I now eat 24 grams of protein, 31 grams of carbohydrates and 11 grams of fat. And I drink 8 glasses of water. More on my intense work out days. My skin and hair have dramatically improved. I am 63. The pilling is a definite problem when I use too much moisturizer. Try just using one. Especially in the morning under makeup. Start with just a little then add a second light layer. The Nivea cream is amazing. I add just a drop of moisturizer to it to help it spread easier in the daytime. I use it straight up at night a couple times a week. If I clean my face too hard it takes a day or two to recover the moisture. I only do that once a week. Then a put a couple of moisturizers on. And I use the 24kt gold eye patches. Every night. I leave them on all night. They may fall off but mostly they are on all night. Also, if you need a lift in the morning use the green tea and matcha eye patches. I get both on Amazon. I love the way Nikol dose makeup and have used her eyeshadow first method for a couple years and it’s magic. Hope you have an awesome week!

I think I have oily eye area because almost anything I put near my eyes, including everything from eyeshadow to foundation , eventually migrates into my eyes and gives me a headache. How does these color correctors stay in place? I would love to try the peachy.
