North Carolina A&T's Cambrea Sturgis ran a 10.74 - season best time to win the 100m dash at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship held in Eugene, Oregon. This is the fastest all-weather time in NCAA history.

I love it!! Cambrea wasn’t a dark horse, the HBCUs just don’t get the publicity as your power money schools. If you noticed, they weren’t even trying to mention Cam who had the fastest time in qualifying and won the MEAC in this event. It’s wealth of talent that is better than the powerhouse house schools who are able to dominate. The world is just taking notice of these HBCUs, more specifically, A&T in this case. Even on the men side.
@gw21023 жыл бұрын
Nah. She was a dark horse. Her PB used to be just a little under 11 seconds so this is a big improvement.
@branching1233 жыл бұрын
She made a HUGE improvement. You just didn't see that She improved by almost 0.2 on her time. In the 100, that's HUGE. She would have been last had she run her normal PR
@orlandofoster44853 жыл бұрын
@@branching123 what? They all basically ran a "PB" TT regular pb was 10.89 in a +1.3 at preliminaries, Sturgis' was 10.92 in a legal wind. So going by your logic Terry would have been 3rd. If you readjust this time to a 0 wind, she ran around 10.9, and Terry ran around 10.95, so Sturgis was the one who did an improvement
