Micaela Degenero of Colorado was NINTH with a lap to go. She had by far the fastest final 400m. Almost had the wheels to catch and pass Vissa of Ole Miss. Great race by both of them.

Yeah she had the fastest 400m but it wasn’t by much. They were fairly bunched up at the bell already. So let’s not overhype that.

@@Foration3 I have to agree. The way Degenero moved pass that pack was like a knife through butter. I keep watching that last 300m of the race. Tbh I was a bit irritated hearing so much about Christine. Virtually no mention of the lady that came third in the race occurred. Vissa(sp ) showed great race savvy during the race but most crucially by responding immediately to the attempt by Degenero to pass her.
@AbiyeKetema2 жыл бұрын
Almost doesn't count, I think Vissa would respond to any attack. In this race any of the athletes are capable of sprinting the last 4 but the key is know the technic to win.

5:56 Great tactical race by Vissa. "Just revenge, you know." daaaaaaaym.

Great race. Congrats to the winner, good tactics. Very nice close through the line by Aragon!

If you could stop putting the winner in the thumbnail that would be great

literally why does it matter? you'll know by the end of it who wins anyway and if you aren't completely cut off from the running world then you'll have likely already heard of the results by the time videos of the race go up.

@@natalietorres9206 I’m completely cut off from the running world I don’t live in the United States and I don’t know anyone who watches NCAA track. I would rather not know who wins before I watch the race because cheering for certain athletes and schools to win is part of the enjoyment of watching

Gear of Arkansas should be DQ’d for blocking Heymach of Stanford on the home stretch. Clearly cutting her off as she was about to pass her. Gear wasn’t going to catch the leaders so she had no reason to go to the right except to block Heymach in an attempt to medal but Aragon of Stanford took that spot away from her.
@adegbenroagoro51802 жыл бұрын
I agree. There was no legal reason for her to have veered right.

Photo of the winner in the thumbnail EACH time ? Really ? Hard to imagine someone making that choice AND people at the NCAA saying " Yep ! Great idea ! Keep up the good work ..." As Einstein said, " I know 2 things that are infinite : space and stupidity !"
