Because they are concentrating on lane 4 most of the time ! They changed their opinions last 70 meters !!! After the race they act like they know everything who is gonna win !

I've always wondered about the lanes. Cos the people running in the last lanes always end up losing. Is it because those lanes are the hardest or is it because they always position the best runners in the middle for the camera?

@@BBrunnel usually best runners from heats are in the middle.

@@BBrunnel Athletes are put in lanes in an alternating order based on qualifying times (In 100/200m races on a 8 lane track 4,5,3,6,2,7,1,8) but somehow a lot of American runners are "randomly" placed in undesirable lanes in a lot of major 400 races. Kori Carter should have gotten lane 8... and Sage Watson lane 9 because she ran a slower qualifying time. The preferred lanes in a 400mh on a 9 lane track are 5,6,78....and we see who got those. Lanes 1 and 2 (in this case, 2 and 3) should be the slowest because the curve is tight to run with hurdles. The outer most lane has the crowd and no one to cue off. Their times are listed at the end of the semi-finals video kzbin.info/www/bejne/op_UhJ-ohL1od6M

These commentators can be dumb sometimes!! If she did her homework well, she'll realize Hejnova was finished after 2015. She keeps mentioning her as favorite!! 😤😤😤
