I love how Bol learned from the last race against Sydney and ran her own race this time. Knew that there was no point chasing Gold but ran a race that secured Silver. I feel like everything is a story for her. Not sure if she will ever beat Sydney, but she’s definitely a come back queen. Dropped the Baton in the mixed 4x400 last year, claimed gold in the women’s relay after then gold in the mixed at the Olympics. Lost the silver in the 400Mh, and ran her own race this time to secure the Silver. She’s a very reflective athlete. Congrats USA, Netherlands and Britain.

Bol has more chance to beat Sydney in flat 400. Her running style is more about conserving energy - the body is lower to the ground and keeps moving forward. Her arms movement ( or lack of it) also serve that purpose. While Sydney style is extremely powerful. It suits her best in the huddle race when you have to jump. I believe Sydney could improve much more than Bol.
