Day 4 of the IWF World Cup qualifying event in Phuket brought us outstanding performances that have already gone into the history of weightlifting. Having beaten previous records and improved personal bests, 13 female weightlifters pushed themselves to their maximum. As the stakes are increasing with the approach of the Olympic Games, a tense battle between the category’s leaders added even more pressure today.

China got a weird problem, the best lifter on each female category are from China, Hou Zhihui 49kg, Luo Shifang 59kg, Liao Guifang 71kg, Liang Xiaomei 81kg and Li Wenwen 81+kg, so the success of the other countries depend whether China send a female lifter in that category or not, who will go?. if you have a chinese lifter in your category, say goodbye to the gold medal, as simple as that
