Many women and young girls growing up in low-income families experience the struggle of accessing dignified sanitary care products.
Determined to break the barriers and dilemma of period poverty, Sheila Mogaila channelled that very experience into a driving force for change.
She spent three years researching and developing GentiShe Menstrual Cup, the Continent's first menstrual cup brand, which also produces plant based sanitary towels made from high absorbency banana fibre.
