The way that player managed not to step into touch at 1:10 was epic! However, (At risk of sounding sexist) at 2:13 when that scrum half threw a shit pass that hit the ground and the fly half still manages to pick up and run through the defence and score between the posts, instead of getting instantly nailed by the defence, reminded me that men’s rugby is better.

Matthew Court it's not better it's just different. Different way of playing. Males are naturally stronger and faster which gives you the typical rugby you watch. At first when woman's rugby was introduced to my school I thought "this is shit" until I forgot everything about male rugby and watched it with a fresh mind and it's almost like a different sport. Lots more room for tricky stuff because females aren't as strong or fast. Keep an open mind

Ok, how is it that these gals are very impressive playing rugby while gals from many of the same countries make soccer(yep I'm American) look like a completely different and horrible sport? All those ladies who make it look like none of them have ever been taught to even run much less with a ball in front to control should watch these rugby players and then quit their game because there's no comparison! Hi, female soccer player here, i think it IS an interesting question to talk about. I think the ultimate answer is that in most cases women start playing soccer at a much later time. Specifically soccer requires lots of technique and this is learned easiest when starting very young as well as that, whether officially training or not, guys play soccer as a past time activity so even before they join a club they have gained the basics, girls most likely have not. The girls that do start from an early age often times (at least were I live) play with the boys and are very much able to keep up till due to gender separation those girls are being forced to join girls teams instead, where half the girls are beginners, ultimately slowing their progress down immensely or even them having no progress at all anymore. Additionally girls teams get way less support from their clubs which again lowers the pace at which they could progress so much it's impossible to keep up with the guys. You could say it's a series of unfortunate events lol. This is obviously from my point of view and it would be interesting to for example let girls stay in the guys teams if they started there to see if what I said rly is the problem.
