@@leoh1191 being lighter really doesn't matter at all if they don't have much upper body strength to begin with. It's harder for women to gain upper body strength period, and mind you it's much easier for women to gain fat more than muscle mass, so these women had to work really hard just to get there. He's saying that they're being tactical with their order ans alternating, doing 5,5,5,5 not 10,10, does that make sense? So instead of doing 10 harder then ten easier, they're doing hard, easy, hard, easy. (I mean it's all hard, but relatively speaking!)
@Alibrook6134 жыл бұрын
@@ruthgovanbader they couldn’t do 5,5,5,5. Unless they’re doing 5 snatches one arm, 5 snatches the other, and then the c&j’s after. The way the event is structured it’s snatches first then clean and jerks. I think the commentator was just confused.

@ItsBritneyBitch14 жыл бұрын
@@lupitapikachu the best way to lose weight is to eat healthy and consistent, working out is secondary but also important. Cardio is not the only way to go and weightlifting has actually been proven to be a really good method to burn calories. Cardio often burns more calories but weight training is more effective than cardio at building muscle, and muscle burns more calories *at rest* than fat does. I'm a climber so I don't really do cardio or crossfit, I train to become as strong of a climber as possible which is a very different goal with different training requirements. But for weight loss specifically there's a good article that compares both (cardio vs lifting) and other methods: www.healthline.com/nutrition/cardio-vs-weights-for-weight-loss#TOC_TITLE_HDR_6
