Jammed to every single one of these songs! I wish I could re-live the 90s! Best time of my life! Was in college, discovering who I was, finding my feet and my wings, partying with friends, clubbing, road trips, late night at Applebees and Denny’s supposedly having “study sessions”, spontaneous late night drives to the beach. Just living our best lives! Miss those days so much! But am so grateful I lived it!

It's the diversity for me, from RnB to this to so much more, I love it all!

IMO.....the diversity in damn near EVERYTHING was the BEST part of the 90's! Didn't matter if you were RnB, Heavy Metal, Country, Alternative, etc.....You could Flip through the channels and Find a place For YOU! And No One care if you liked Just one channel or ALL of them!

I'm the same way! Shaggy Boombastic? Misfits? TLC Tboz left eye and Chilly, dead presidents peaches 🍑? Blood hound gang? Bone thugs n Harmony? Salt n pepper? Pantera? Misfits ? REM? Tool? Coolio? Weird Al? Limp Bizkit ? Just seeing how far into the same scene u are with me but I ranch out even further into country and classical, trance, acid rock like lord's of acid and the dreaded aqua and spice girls i secretly liked anyway. I can fill a notebook with bands and the best songs they put out that i liked on each album i heard.

The 70s were okay, but the 90s were perfect because it had just the right mix in amount of technology to make everything fun and helpful, but not too much *too* where it destroys Society - like it has today. In the 70s had basically no groundbreaking technology whatsoever.

I still remember the first time I heard "Fast Car". I was at work and I had hours before the end of my day and it was all I could do not to call every friend I had and demand that they go out and find and listen to it immediately. it was almost like I wanted to cry it was so amazing and I am not that type...I imagine it's what many people felt when they first heard Janis Ian's 70s classic "At Seventeen".

I felt that the first time I heard Take Me To Church. I bought albums for everyone to to make them listen. I was practically handing them out on the street. I got downright evengelical about it. I wonder what it is about some songs that create a tech tonic shift inside us and become part of who we are.

You should find the first time she sang this at a concert.... It takes u from one level to another honestly. Apparently she was so nervous and scared but once the crowd heard the first 30seconds of that song u could tell each and everyone of those crowd members felt the same thing at the same time. One of the best live proformances I've ever witnessed on film.
