Almost half of women decided to enter STEM while
they were in grade school or high school
About 60% join STEM because of natural aptitude
Younger women are more likely to say that they
expect women to work outside of the home
88% of women had a father that worked in STEM
A majority of women have received professional mentorship
44% of women want to be in entrepreneurship
Personal fulfillment is the largest gap in women’s lives
The median tenure for a woman’s job is about five years
26% of women were laid off from their last job
